Chapter 1956

Terry glanced at Lisa and pursed his lips just slightly. Then, he drove Lisa directly to the White Residence.

Lisa was a little worried that he had taken her to his home, and a look of hesitation and concern flashed across her face.

"Don't worry. My mom doesn't live here. She rarely comes here," Terry reassured. "Besides, I warned her to leave you alone. She won't hurt you, at least for now."

"For now?" Lisa bit her lips. Would Terry's mother hurt her again? She was fine with confronting Glynnis, but she was afraid that the baby might get hurt again.

"Don't worry about the child. As long as you don’t get an abortion, the child will be born safely!" Terry promised.

Startled, Lisa stared at Terry, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Are you willing to accept this child? Then—"

Terry interrupted her. "The baby is mine. I'm bound to accept this child. But that doesn't mean I'm going to accept you."
