Lisa never thought Glynnis would try to harm her. She warned, "You'll be sentenced for this!"

"It'll be an accident and unintentional injury at most. Don't worry. My men are mentally prepared for this," Glynnis said calmly, a look of indifference in her eyes. Glynnis did not care about the life that would be lost even if this little life was related to her by blood.

Glynnis remained seated on the couch as she sipped her tea and waited for the show to happen.

Lisa tried to escape the room, but one of the men grabbed her, and the other swung his fist, ready to punch her in the belly.

"No!" She cried out frantically, desperate to protect the child in her belly. Despair colored her eyes as she saw the fist coming for her.

Was this how her child would leave her? Her baby had survived several dangers and two signs of threatened miscarriage. Was this how she would lose her baby?!

No! She would never allow this! It was her and Terry's baby!

Lisa had no idea where she got the strength.
