"I guess that's why my car's alarm always sounded for no reason," Lisa added.

"You're probably right," said Serenity. "What else did the police say?"

"They just told me that they'd continue with the investigation," replied Lisa, "and that they'd give you a call and ask you some questions to get more details."

Serenity nodded. She sincerely hoped that the police would catch the culprit as s
