Lynette quickly said, "Of course. Why would I lie to you, Lucas? The more I think about it, the more scared I am. If I were the one who went into the lounge, I would surely have fallen victim to Jonas because I'm not as quick-witted as Serenity is. It would have turned into a major scandal! Everyone would be talking about it!"

As she spoke, she tried to jump into his arms for comfort.
