Chapter 1043

Clara was busy working at the food stall when she saw Serenity arrive. She greeted Serenity warmly, asking, "What brings you here?"

"I have no plans tonight, so I came to see how you're doing," Serenity replied, "Any troublemakers recently?"

Clara's face fell slightly. Noticing that, Serenity asked, "There are more of them?"

"A few more. I already lodged a police report, and the police promised to patrol here in the next couple of days, but..."

Before Clara had even finished, several rowdy individuals approached the food stall menacingly and harassed the customers until the customers left. They then spread out and sat down, one person to each table, until all the tables were occupied. Then, they ordered the cheapest item on the menu.

Clara had only prepared four folding tables, so there were now no vacant tables left.

When new customers came and asked to share a table, the thugs would scare them away with loud and unpleasant voices.

Serenity scowled. "They do this every day?"
