“How’s Kush?” Pragati asked the doctor, who was also her sister-in-law, Pravi.

“It’s a tibia fracture.”, She replied, on which all the members furrowed their eyebrows, not understanding what that ‘TIBIA’ meant.

Pravi sighed and showed them the X-ray report. “Here, the tibia is one of two bones that make up the lower leg, the other being the fibula. The tibia is the larger of these two bones. He won’t be able to walk for at least 20-22 weeks. And if he tries to do that, then walking after a tibia fracture can worsen his injury and cause further damage to the surrounding muscles, ligaments, and skin. Walking on a fractured tibia is also likely to be extremely painful.”, She explained.
