Tall and clumsy, Christian Johnson, the cousin that the whole family is ashamed to assume as a relative, has just cooled the plan that had everything to be perfect with his stupid question.

All heads turn to me, and I get mute. The lie we told my mother was so lame that I don't have the courage to repeat it out loud. In my defense, I wasn't expecting a party. If I had known that I would find half of my family gathered to crucify me, I wouldn't even have dared to open my mouth.
