The night stretched on endlessly. Sleep evaded me, and I lay awake, staring at the ceiling as the minutes turned into hours. I kept checking my phone, hoping for a reply from Justin, but nothing came. Athena's POVI arrived at my appointment, hoping for some clarity, but all I felt was the growing pit of anxiety in my stomach. I needed Justin's explanation, pero wala.
