Sean stared at Daisy, while Daisy stared back at him fearlessly.

"Ha." Daisy smiled and nodded. "Yes, you're right. That's true!"

He didn't recognize his problem but blamed someone else who wasn't involved. Daisy was tired and didn't want to give any explanation, so she turned around and held Matthew's hand.

Matthew was a little surprised. He instinctively shook his head at Daisy. "Daisy?"

Daisy looked at him pleadingly. "I'm not feeling well... Let's go!"

Matthew looked back at Sean, holding Daisy's hand, and nodded. "Okay, let's go."

"Daisy!" Behind them, Sean suddenly shouted, "Don't go!"

Daisy stopped in her tracks, but she did not look back.

Since she didn't look back, she didn't see Sean's expression.

Sean was out of control. He ran two steps forward and shouted at Daisy's back, "Stop! Come back! If you come back now, I'll pretend you didn't say anything and I'll take it as you're not sensible. We'll be the same as before!"
