Chapter 869 The Tombstone

After a whole day at school, Daisy put the homework she needed to finish into her schoolbag. Her mobile phone rang.

"Hello? Sean," Daisy answered the phone while walking out.

"Yes." It sounded very quiet on Sean's side. "Are you going back to your parents' home today?"

"Sean..." Daisy blushed as she whispered, "What did you say? I... I'm going home. I, I haven't, haven't..."

"You haven't what?" Sean chuckled. He knew what she meant. "Do you have any other choice? It's just a matter of time. It won't be long." Hearing the silence, he knew that Daisy was shy.

Daisy, after all, was still a child, so he didn't tease her anymore.

"Well, I'll stop here. I'm a little busy today... I can't have dinner with you tonight. I'll go to see you tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."

"Well, okay." Daisy smiled and hung up the phone with satisfaction. As her aunt said, Sean would keep her in mind no matter how busy he was. That was enough. She was sensible.
