Chapter 5 Principal George

Author: Jennie Hum
After the fight with Liam Quentin, Savannah Lea cried as soon as she returned to the classroom.

The professor in the hall was talking about the European History of Art, and she was crying below. Danica Rein was silently handing out tissue to her. Savannah was finally crying over Liam.

I hope this child will remember her lesson when she looks for another man in the future! Danica thought sadly.

......

It was a weekend, and Savannah Lea went home that night.

Savannah's family was above average. Her father, Walden George, was the principal of City T University. He had been a professor for a lifetime, so it was more than enough for him to live comfortably with the patent proceeds every year. However, no one in the school knew that Savannah was the daughter of the principal, not even her best friend Danica. It was not because Savannah wanted to have a low profile, but because in her heart, that person was no longer her father.

Savannah's father's last name was George, but Savannah's last name was Lea. She was not born with the name Lea, but she changed her name when her mother passed away, and her mother's last name was Lea. She was only six when that happened.

Although Savannah was only six years old, she understood that her mother had passed away and would never come back.

The little Savannah was still stuck in the pain of losing her mother. Her father showed up in the George family with her stepmother and their daughter, Rainie George, who was one year older than Savannah was. Which meant, her father had betrayed her mother even before Savannah was born!

Savannah, only six years old, quietly packed up her luggage, left the George family, moved to her grandmother's home, and changed her name from Savannah George to Savannah Lea... From then on, there was no "father" in her world!

Savannah was brought up by her grandmother and she was only occasionally brought to the George family to be taken care of under unforeseen circumstances. She basically had nothing to say to her father, let alone any father-daughter relationship. And it was always Walden who asked her to go home, she would never take the initiative to go.

A month ago, Walden urged her to come home for dinner with all kinds of phone calls and text messages and she always refused with various excuses. She could no longer refuse him this time, so she had to come home once.

Savannah didn't have the house key so she stood at the door of the courtyard and rang the doorbell. It was the aunt who opened the door for her.

"Hello, Madam Weiss!"

Madam Weiss pinched Savannah's face and smiled. "You are finally back. Don't you miss me?"

"Yes, I miss you so much!" Savannah jumped up and hugged Madam Weiss and kissed her on the face.

Madam Weiss had worked in their family for all of her life. The relationship between them was like mother and daughter. Especially after her mother passed away, no one in the Geroge family cared about her except Madam Weiss.

"Hey, is Savannah back?"

Savannah's stepmother, Hilda Kent, came down from upstairs. She was in her forties. Because of the good maintenance, she looked much younger than her actual age. The wife of the principal had lived a comfortable life for so many years.

"Yes." Savannah snorted as an answer.

"Why are you back today? Do you not have enough pocket money to spend?" Hilda looked like a loving mother, as if she really cared about her.

Savannah replied rudely, "What if I don't have enough money to spend? Have I spent a penny of George family's? Don't make it sound as if you have given me a lot of money."

"I asked her to come back." Before Savannah finished, her father, Walden came in. He was obviously not satisfied with his wife's question. "This is Savannah's home too. Can't she come here?"

"No, I didn't mean that. You see, you misunderstood me again!" Hilda explained in a hurry, with an embarrassed look on her face, but she glared at Savannah when Walden was not looking.

Savannah was used to it, so she just pretended that she didn't see it.

"Principal George, what do you want from me? It's almost time for my finals. I have to go back to revise." She addressed Walden as Principal George coldly, and she was implying for him to hurry up and finish what he had to say so she could leave.

Walden's face froze. He handed the briefcase to Hilda and said, "Savannah, don't hurry back. I haven't seen you for a long time. Why don't you stay for dinner tonight? I have something to tell you."

Walden winked at Madam Weiss as he spoke. Madam Weiss quickly chimed along, "Yes, yes, sit down and have some food. Let's talk while eating."

For Madam Weiss's sake, Savannah had no choice but to nod in agreement.

"Savannah, come here. This shrimp is your favorite. Eat more."

Savannah silently picked away the dishes that Walden picked for her. Walden held his chopsticks awkwardly and didn't know what to do. Savannah said while drinking the soup, "Principal George, I'm sorry, I don't like eating shrimp anymore. People always change."

"Well, what do you like to eat? Daddy will help you take." Walden tried to please his daughter.

Savannah gave Walden a helpless look and said, "Principal George, don't you have something to say? Do it fast please, I'll finish dinner soon."

"Oh, I wanted to ask you, you are already in your third year, do you have any plans in the future? You major in designing, you'd better study abroad in the future, the schools here are not that good."

"Hiss." Savannah sneered and stared at Hilda for a while. "So, Principal George, are you going to send me abroad?"

Walden nodded immediately and agreed. "Of course. Let me know if you have anything in mind. I can ask someone to prepare for you now. If you are fast enough, you can go abroad before your fourth year. Anyway, there isn't many classes in your fourth year. You should go abroad early and learn something early."

When Walden said that, Hilda's face had become stiff and unpleasant.

Savannah knew that her stepmother couldn't bear to see Walden spend money and time on her. Hilda wished that her daughter, Rainie was the one that had all the attention from Walden. Rainie had been sent abroad since high school. Now she couldn't even bear to see Savannah study abroad too.

Hanging around the George family's house was so uncomfortable for Savannah!

Savannah put down the bowl and stood up. "Principal George, you don't have to worry about my future. I have never asked for tuition fees and living expenses from you since I was a child, so I won't reach out to you now! You, and your dear wife, don't have to worry about it!"

"But Savannah, it's too expensive to go abroad. I'm afraid your grandmother can't afford it." Walden felt guilty. Every year, he would send money to Savannah's grandmother for her tuition and living expenses, but they were all returned by Savannah to him. This little daughter was so stubborn that he felt that there was no way to compensate her as a father.

"Humph..." Savannah wiped her mouth and grinned. "You don't have to worry about it. I have my own way. Is that all? Principal George, I'll make a move then."

After leaving the George family home, Savannah couldn't help but tear up a little. She really regretted coming for dinner. She had nothing to do with the George family since very long ago, and yet she came here only to get involved in another drama! She had no words for her own stupidity.

One evening, Simon changed her clothes and went downstairs. He had finished his work early today, so it was rare for him to have some free time. When they were walking into the hall, they caught sight of a small group of people in the kitchen, who were sneaking around. Huh? Simon was confused and walked over. "Dad!" As expected, Esti put his hands behind his back, and there was something fishy about it. Simon didn't need to ask any more questions. She said bluntly, "You stole ice cream. I'll tell your mom later." "How could it be like this?" Xing Xing's little face fell and he pouted unhappily. There was no doubt that his mother doted on him, but she was also more in charge of him than his father. However, his father loved to complain. Xing Xing rolled his eyes and started a discussion with his father. "Dad, don't tell Mom. I won't sleep with Mom tonight!" Hearing that, Simon narrowed her eyes. The brat was now by

In Simon's words, Tan Jingbo was happy that day as if there was something wrong with his IQ. "Haha, brother-in-law, you're so naughty." Upon hearing this, Zhou Jingbo still laughed and didn't mind at all. In this way, the whole family agreed with Simon's words—Love made people lose their minds. Many guests were invited to the wedding, including many relatives and friends. After two days of leisure, Simon put down her body and helped to greet the guests. "Hey, let's go." There were a group of young girls in groups of three or four, all of whom were intimate with each other. At this moment, they were gathering together and peeping at Simon. "I don't dare. Will he refuse?" "Just take a look." "The opportunity can't be missed and it won't come again!" Finally, a girl took a deep breath and summoned up her courage to walk toward Simon. "Sir." Hearing this, Simon looked sideways and raised her lips slightly. "Nice

Taojingbo's wedding was more grand than ever, so there were naturally a lot of guests. Fortunately, the Wu Family was big enough. Even so, they couldn't afford such a large number of guests, and many of them needed to stay in hotels. Because of this matter, Gladyce had no time to rest and was assigned to "work". On the other hand, it was rare for Simon to be free. It was not that the Pang family was reluctant to call him son-in-law, but that his identity was so special that it was not enough for him to cause a disturbance. In the past two days, Gladyce had gone out early and returned late. The day before the wedding, she was finally able to take a break. In the morning, she finally sat next to Simon. "Ah..." Gladyce yawned, pulled out a chair, and sat down. Simon poured her a cup of coffee and looked at her with a funny smile. "Sorry to trouble you, my lady." "Yes." Gladyce was still in a daze. She glanced at Simon and said, "Why do I feel that

Two years later. At ten o'clock in the morning, Gladyce came back from the outside. Early in the morning, she took time to go to the beauty salon. When she came back, she had tidied up her hair, face, and beautiful armor. When he entered the entrance, he heard a deliberate light cough. Gladyce smiled and walked over with her sleeves rolled up. Simon was pointing at the tablet with her head down. "What are you looking at?" "Do you care?" Simon looked up at her with a poker face and no one could tell whether she was happy or angry. But what she said was really sour. "What's wrong?" Gladyce bent over and hugged him from behind. "I just want you to sleep a little longer. It's easy for you to rest." Simon's slight grievance was immediately appeased, but she still grabbed her hand. "You know it's easy for me to rest, so why don't you let me accompany you? I have a lot of opportunities to accompany you?" "Yes." Gladyce im

"So surprised?" Simon smiled and lay down beside her naturally. The bed was big enough for them to roll on it. "Of course I'm here to protect you." He took it for granted. Gladyce didn't know whether she should get angry or not. "Stop it." After the delivery, she would naturally be accompanied by professional care. "Why are you making trouble?" Simon looked serious, as if she was not joking. "Do you think that I didn't take good care of it?" Of course not. Although she hadn't fully regained her memory, Gladyce still believed that with Simon's ability, she could survive in the uninhabited island, not to mention just taking care of her. But was this a problem? Gladyce gave him a nudge. "Stop fooling around. Can you rest well here?" Even if she didn't see him with her own eyes, she knew how busy he was. It was hard to squeeze out the time in the past two days. If he couldn't rest well at night, how could he hold

As Simon and her son wished, Gladyce had a cut-off and gave birth to a daughter, and the mother and daughter were safe. Gladyce opened her eyes. It was already four hours later. C parting was not a major operation, but because Gladyce's condition was special, she had woken up a little longer. The first person he saw when he woke up was Simon. "Child..." Gladyce frowned and opened her mouth as if her throat was stuck to it. Her voice was very weak and a little hoarse. "The child is very good." Simon gently pressed her on the shoulder and said, "Don't get up. You have to lie down for eight hours. Be good." As she spoke, she picked up her phone, clicked on it, and placed it in front of her. "The baby is very good. This is the video we just took." "Hurry up!" Gladyce couldn't look away immediately. In the video, the baby was lying in a warm box, sleeping soundly. The baby's skin was red and wrinkled. Gladyce couldn't h
