Cindy's voice droned on, but I couldn't focus on what she was saying. My thoughts were swirling, and I was unable to make sense of them. I tried to concentrate on her words, but they were like a jumble of letters, impossible to decipher.

I closed my eyes, trying to shut out the noise. But even with my eyes closed, I could still hear her, and my thoughts kept racing.

Zelda's face kept flashing in my mind, like a movie on repeat. No matter how hard I attempted to think of something else, she was always there. It was like she had taken up permanent residence in my brain, and I couldn't make her leave.

And the more I attempted to push her out, the angrier I became. She was like a mosquito buzzing in my ear, and I just wanted to swat her away.

The memory of our last encounter kept replaying in my mind. It was a stark contrast to the Zelda I had known before. She had always been timid, but the last time I saw her, she was bold and defiant.
