The old woman opened the door, and we filed inside. I sat down, my hands tightly wrapped

around Drake's arms. I watched as Amelia leaned in to whisper something in the old woman's ear.

Her wrinkled face grew more and more serious, and I felt a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. What was Amelia telling her?

I swallowed hard, trying to keep my composure, but I could feel my heart racing. I had to know what was going on.

The old woman turned back to face us, her gaze shifting from me to Drake. “She already explained why you're both here,” she said, her tone stern.

“Fine give us what we want, let’s get the fuck out of here.” Drake snarled, his voice full of disgust.

The old woman's frown deepened, and a chill ran down my spine. “You are not in your pack, young one,” she said, her voice low and threatening. “You have no authority here.”

Drake's body was taut with tension, his muscles quivering as he held himself in check. I could see the rage simmering in his eyes, and I k

I turned my attention to the old woman, who was grinning like a Cheshire cat. It's the moon goddess's fault. She gave my enemies the upper hand, and now we're in this mess.“Come with me,” the old woman said, gesturing for me to follow her. I got to my feet, my legs feeling shaky, and I noticed that Drake had done the same. “No, just her,” the old woman said, her voice firm. “Why?” Drake asked, his brow furrowed confused. “You ask too many questions,” she replied, irritation creeping into her tone. “I am the one treating her right now.” “I'll be fine,” I mumbled to Drake, trying to reassure him. He pulled me into a hug, and I leaned into it, grateful for the comfort. “Ugh,” the old woman muttered. I pulled away from Drake, trying to keep my composure. I followed the old woman down a dark,
