Drake

“She's four months gone,” the midwife said, and I let out a groan of frustration.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was in shock, my mind reeling with the implications of her words. I stood up and walked towards Amelia, a storm of rage and disbelief swirling within me.

As I neared her, I could see the fear in her eyes. I knew I was about to do something. I raised my hand and slapped her hard across the face.

The sound of the slap reverberated through the room, and I heard gasps.

“Drake, please!” Zelda cried out, but I ignored her.

I was so consumed by anger and betrayal that I couldn't hear her words. I was focused only on Amelia, who was still on the floor, her cheeks bright red from my slap. I watched as she rubbed her face, her eyes wide with fear.

A part of me felt a pang of guilt, but it was quickly overshadowed by the overwhelming rage that consumed me. I stood there, breathing heavily, my hands clenched into fists. I could feel my nails digging into my palms, b
