Chapter 7

The next morning, Viren and Anisha  walked downstairs after getting ready , and sat on their seat . Alya and her parents started serving them, Anisha took a sip of coffee, drinking the coffee her anger reached to the  peak. She threw the cup on the floor and shouted angrily:” It’s been two months, still you don’t know how to make a good  coffee. You all are idiots, what are doing in my house if you can’t do anything properly. You can’t make one cup of coffee properly “.

Viren looked at Alya’s teary eyes , he gets up from his seat and said in loud tone :” Stop it , ma’am . If you don’t like her hand’s coffee, then go and make with your own hand . And in my opinion, coffee is great “.

Anisha interrupt him and said with arrogance:” Did I asked for your opinion , no ! And if you are feeling so bad for your ex wife, why don’t you go and make coffee for me. I just want my morning coffee, it does not matter who made this “.

They were looking at each other with red eyes; Viren broke the eye contact and announced:” Fine! I will make coffee for you “. Saying this, he walked toward the kitchen and started preparing the coffee for her. Alya walked behind him and said :” Viren, you don’t need to do this . I mean, I can do this “.

She was going to touch coffee pan, but Viren  stopped her and said:” No problem Alya, she shouted on you daily for the coffee. If she wanted to shout on someone, it should me. I don’t like to see your teary eyes daily, it’s alright “. Alya burst into tears and said:” I am sorry, it’s my fault “.

Viren holds her hand and said :” Alya, we can’t undo the past . I told you , after sometime you will regret your decision but leave this . We can’t do anything except bear her and wait for one year to over soon “. Viren  pours the coffee in cup and walked toward Anisha followed by Alya.

Anisha takes  the cup from Viren’s hand and took a sip , after drinking the coffee she said looking at Viren :” I must say , you made a good coffee . Better than your ex wife, from tomorrow onwards you will make coffee for me “. She finished her breakfast, and gets up  from the chair and left for her office.

Few days passed, Anisha was in presentation room. Viren was also present, when the person finished the presentation, she shouted on the person:” You can’t do this properly , I have told you about the presentation two weeks ago. I am paying for your work , not to keep you as a showcase . If you can’t do things properly, just leave the job. There are so many people who can do this work properly on half of the salary you are getting . I don’t want to hear any excuse, finish the work till tomorrow otherwise quit the job “. She finished the sentence and walked toward the exit with attitude.

Viren was arranging the files when he heard two men were talking about Anisha , first men :” I don’t know what’s her problem. Can’t she behave normal, we can’t even breathe properly in her presence? She is such a nightmare “. Viren sighed , it was normal for an employee to bitching behind his or her boss , so he ignored this, but the other man statement caught her attention .

Other man laughed and said :” Yes , must say she looks hot when she was angry . Her body is so attractive, I wish I can sleep with her even for one night . I was feeling hot imagining her under me , all naked “. Before he could complete a punch land on his face , Viren  holds his collar and said angrily : “ How dare you to talk like this about her , you bastard ! “, and started hitting him.

Anisha's PA informed her about the fighting, she rushed toward the conference room and shouted :” What’s going on there ? You are here to work , not to do these dramas . This is my office , not a vegetable market “. They both stopped fighting hearing her voice , Anisha  took a deep breath and asked :” What’s going on ? Why are you fighting like animals “. They both remained silent, Anisha  looked at them for good one minutes, then she walked toward her cabin and asked her PA to bring CCTV footage.

After watching the CCTV footage , she calls Viren inside the cabin . She looked at Viren, he was standing in front of her desk . She gets from her chair and walked closer to him, she said folding her hand on chest :” I watched CCTV footage , you know what you don’t need to become hero and fight for me . This is very common for me”.

Viren  looked at her, he said angrily:” Ma’am , I did not do anything to become hero in your eyes . You are a girl and second thing, agree or not, but you are my wife. Your respect is mine, I can’t bear anyone says rubbish about you”, he paused for a few seconds and said taking a deep breath:” Leave it, I am talking to whom, the girl who don’t have any emotions. The only thing you know is money and hurting other people “. He said these lines and left her cabin, closing the door with a thud. Anisha kept looking at his retreating back for sometimes, she sighed and walked outside.

Anisha walked toward the man and asked loudly, making everyone hear her voice:” So , you want to sleep with me ?”. The person remains silent, he lowered his voice.

Anisha speaks again :” Come on , if you are a man, speak in front of me what you want . Don’t act like a coward , come on ! “. He remained silent , Anisha lands a tight slap on his face . She slapped him again and said :”  Dare you to speak like this , don’t you know me . I am Anisha Mathur , I can’t take bullshit from people like you . What are you in front of me , a low class worker , how dare you to speak like this . Kiara , call police and arrest this man “. The man gets scared , he fell on her legs and begged :” Please ma’am , I am sorry . Please forgive me “. Anisha ignored him and turned toward other man and said :” You are enjoying when he was talking shit about me , isn’t it ? You are fire , and help your friend and his family “. She left the place, ignoring their begging.

Viren and Anisha  entered the house at the same time, they looked at each other for a few seconds, then diverted their gaze and resumed walking. Alya looked at Viren’s face and asked with concern :” O my God , Viren. What happened to you?”. She holds his hand and made him sit on the sofa and asked again :” What happened to your face ? Did you fight with anyone?”.  She asked her mother to bring a first  aid box for Viren.

Viren looked at her, and said:” I…I fell from stairs, don’t worry. I am okay “. Alya nodded , she is going to take first aid box from her mother’s hand when Anisha  come between and take the first box and said :” Alya, I am here . You can see my husband is injured , as his wife it’s my duty to treat his wound, not an outsider like you “.

Viren looked at them , he understands they are going to argue , he immediately snatched the first aid box from Anisha's hand and said :” I can take care of myself , thank you for the help “. Saying this , he left for his room . Alya tried to walked behind him when Anisha's hold her hands and said :” I am here for my husband , you don’t need to get worry about him “. She smirked, seeing her pale face , and left for her room .
