Chapter 3

Viren , Alya and her parents stepped inside Viren's house. They saw Anisha was using her phone, hearing footsteps voice,  she shifted her gaze toward them. She looked at Alya and asked in authoritative voice:" So, Mrs Alya Malhothra , what did you decide? Do you agree with my terms and condition or going to empty this house? And tell your decision fast as you have already wasted my lot of time". 

Alya first looked at Viren, then she took the deep breath and replied with difficulty, it was difficult to share her husband for her , the husband whom she loves so much but it's important for their future. She took a deep breath and said :" yes, we have decided. We are ready to sign the contract ".

A smile come on Anisha's face, she said with a smile:" Good decision, I must say you are very smart , unlike typical middle class wives whose husbands are their god and they can't share their husband . I was thinking, you will come and say , I am ready to stay on road with Viren, with my love . But you are smart, and take good decision for your future". After saying this, she forwarded two files and said :" Sign them, first file contains your divorce papers and other file has  our contract paper". 

Alya took the file and opened it, she blinked her eyes to control her tears . She looked at herself, she was still wearing her bridal clothes and here, she is signing her divorce papers. Building the courage she signed the papers then forwarded the file toward Viren. He took the file , he remembered all the memories with her, how she support him when his parents died, how she supports him for his studies , their marriage . All their childhood memories come in front of his eyes , he closed his eyes  and signed the papers with heavy hearts. 

After that, Viren took contract papers, , he  opened the file and read the content . According to the contract, he has to marry Anisha  and stay with her until she conceived. 

Second, even after one year if she can't conceive they can take divorce.  During the duration, he would not cheat on her or have any physical relationship with any other woman. If he breaks  the contract, he has to pay 5 crore .

Viren  sighed , he looked at Alya one last time , in hope she will realize her mistake, but his hope was useless, she was not looking at him while her parents have a smile on their face like they are getting a lottery. He took a deep breath and signed it

Anisha took the file and looked Viren sign with a smirk on her face , she  cleared her throat and said :” Good !  My lawyer will inform you when the divorce gets finalized and about our marriage date, it will be next day after your divorce. Here , 20 lakhs  cheque . I will give the remaining amount after our divorce “.

She forwarded the cheque toward Viren  but he did not touch it , Alya snatched the cheque  and looked at the cheque happily, she looked at Anisha and said :" Thank you so much , ma’am, we will never forget this “. Anisha smirk and said with a smirk on her face :" Don't worry, I will never let you forget this ". Alya and her parents did not understand the meaning behind her words, but they ignored her words and started focussing on the cheques while Viren understands, there is some deep meaning behind her words.

After saying this, she stood up from her seat , she straightened herself and said :" Okay, Mr Viren I am leaving. My lawyer will contact you". Viren did not say anything, she forwarded her hand toward him for hand shake but he did not respond. She sighed and said :" Even though you are going to be my husband, still I am your boss so, don't show these tantrums on me". Viren can sense warning in her words, half heartedly, he hand shake with her. She smile and walked toward her car. Viren was looking at her retreating back, then something strike in his mind, he rushed toward her. 

Anisha was going to sit in her car when  Viren called her name and stopped her , he  requests her ” Ma'am, please !  I can’t make Alya understand what she was doing  because money is her weakness and she was only thinking about money not about the consequences of this marriage , but please try to understand . I can’t do this , I am a human being, not a robot who don’t have feelings . Please, I love Alya and don't want to marry you . Please cancel this agreement, you can find any other man who can do this willingly, please don’t do this to me ma’am “. 

Anisha looked at him for good one minutes, then she come closer to him and said:” Yes, you are not robot but a thing. Your wife, oops ex wife, sold you and I have purchased you. I am a businesswoman and it's a deal .I always invest in the deal  which are beneficial for me. If your wife sorry again, your ex wife  loves you or know your worth she would never sell you . Hope you understand , you are not  useful for her anymore but for me , you are useful . You should be happy. About finding other man, why will I do hard work when I have already find a perfect man to become my husband. I just gave you an offer and your wife accepted, that's it . Now, there is nothing to talk about . And why are behaving like this, I am not asking to stay away from your ex wife , she will stay with us. It's matter of one year, you don't have to do anything except sleeping with me. It's not I am asking to take responsibilty of me or my child. Don't take stress, if your wife has no problem with this then why are you taking so much stress. Just enjoy for these one year “.

Saying this she ran her finger on his face ,  he jerked her hand from his face  and said with bitterness :” I hate you , you are disgusting woman. You are heartless woman, who don't think about anyone except yourself. But remember, I will not touch you ever . You are just wasting your money. I am giving you warning, you have time you can save your money if you want  “. After saying this,  he glared at her , and leave . Anisha stood there for some time and keep looking at his retreating back, after sometimes  , she sits in her car and left .

Viren  walked inside his house with disppointment  and going toward his room when Alya holds his hand and asked :” Where were you ?’. He  ignored her question and asked:” What are you doing here ?”.

Alya looked confused, she asked :’ what are you saying ? This is my house , where will I go?  “.

He chuckled and replied  : “ No , this is my house. You are no one to me, remember   we had signed divorced paper a few minutes ago so  , it would be inappropriate  Ms Alya Gupta if you stay with a stranger . Please, leave, I have to go to sleep “. Saying this, he walked toward his room and closed the door with the thud .

Alya become worried seeing his behavior ,  she was going to talk to him when her mother stopped  and  explained her :” Alya , don’t take stress . Leave him for a while, he is angry but we all know he can't stay angry with you for so long . After sometime he will understand, everything you are doing for everyone betterment and future . You know how emotional he is , he can't think practically . Don't worry your daddy and I will talk to him “.

“Mom, You think  am I  doing right?  I mean, what if Viren forget me and fall for his boss . She is beautiful , smart , rich “ She asked worriedly to her mother.

 Her mother smile and said, stroking her hair  :” Alya , we all know how much Viren loves you and care about you . He will never love anybody except you . Now don’t think about him , he will be alright after sometimes . Let’s think what we do with this money “.  Listening to her mother , Alya also forget everything and started thinking about money .

Her father added :" Yes, we will invest this money ", he was cut off by his wife :" No, not investemnt. You can invest remaining money, first we will buy so many clothes and jewelery. I want to go to abroad ". They were walking toward their room when Alya said :" Mom, dad . I forget my mobile in Viren's room. You go ahead, I am coming ! ". They nodded and entered in their home while Alya turned to go to Viren' s homes. 

On the other side, Viren was looking the bed of his room which was decorated with flowers. Whole room is decorated with light, candles and lamps. He decorated the whole room for their wedding night, but everything gets destroyed. He angrily started removing and throwing the decorative items. He pulled the bed sheet and throw them on the ground. Alya stepped inside the room , and get shocked to seee the scene in front of her eyes. She slowly walked near him and said :" Viren... I ". Listening to her voice, he turned toward her angrily and said :" What are you doing here ? ". She remained silent listening to his angry voice, she was not used to his harsh and angry words, she speak when he asked the same thing again by raising his voice again. 

She said stammering :" I forget my mobile.. I came to take my mobile ". He did not say anything , turned to other direction showing his back to her. Alya took a deep breath, she took her phone. She was going out when she stopped and said slowly :" I know Viren, you are angry with me but I am doing this for all of us. Please sit and think carefully, why I did this ".  She waited for his reply , when she did not heard any thing from his side she walked out of his room. 

The next day, Viren did not go to the office . He stays in his room only while Alya and her parents were making shopping list. Alya and her parents were sitting in the living room, Alya said :" Mom, do you see the diamond necklace we saw yesterday in the ad, I want to buy that necklace". Alya's mother smile and said :" Why not Alya, you can buy anything you want, after all you are giving such a huge sacrifice for all this". Alya smile faintly hearing her mother. They were talking when someone knock at their door. They looked at the person, a man in his mid forties standing wearing black coat and pant, he has files in their hand. Alya's father asked looking at him:" Who are you ? What are you doing here ? ".

"Hello, I am Rakesh . I am Anisha Mathur's lawyer, I am here to give you these divorce papers, congratulations ! your divorce is finallized. Now you and Mr Viren are officially divorced": The laywer informed them in professional tone. Alya nodded, with shivering hand she took the divorce papers, she could not control herself and burst into tears. Her parents rushed toward her to give support. Seeing the situation, the lawyer thinks it's good to leave them alone, he said slowly :" I am leaving, I just came to give you divorce papers. Thank you so much ". 

Alya 's mother said stroking her hair :" Alya, please stop crying. It's not good for your health". Alya looked at her mother with teary eyes and said :" No...no, mom !  I can't do this, I can't leave Viren. I love him, I can't let him marry another woman. I can;t see him with other woman". Alya's parents looked at each other worriedly, this way their all dreams will be destroyed. They can't let this happen.

Her mother said :" Alya, you have already signed the contract. Besides, where will you live if you cancel the contract. I mean, Anisha will snatch the house then where you and Viren will stay. Not only this, Viren will also lose his job. You know, we all depend on Viren's salary for our living. And do you think , he will get another job. Alya, don't behave like emotional fool and you are going to stay with Viren. We will keep eye on them, and I am sure, Viren will not leave you ". Listening to her mother, Alya thinks and said :" you are right mom, we will come on road if I cancel the contract now . I am sure, my Viren loves me so much, he will never leave me and fall for Anisha. This is very difficult but I am ready to do this for my and Viren;s better future". Alya's parents looked at each other and sighed in relief.
