Meeting the Family

I can't believe how I didn't know I was pregnant! How dense am I? Jason and I were just in heaven the entire ride back to my home to get all my stuff. Jason said now knowing that I was having a pup no way in hell was he leaving my side. I tried to say I'd be fine because of my family and he just glared at me. I'm sure he would've used an Alpha command on me except he knows it would never work. A daughter with Strong Aplha blood is a true Alpha. For some reason every Strong has married Alpha blood. We are the strongest Alpha's for a reason. I know it. I'm never sure how I know these things I just do. 

Jason pulled into my driveway. My family was already there loading things into the little Uhual trailer attached to my brother's truck. The house I live in is on pack territory so it will be used for another couple. All the furniture has already been taken to the storage rooms we have on our property. Every couple has different taste but instead of giving away the furniture we keep it for whoever needs it with in the pack. We do give things to the human good will too. I told my dad to do that with somethings. Jason and I were all smiles as we got out of the car. 

" AUNT BECCA!" was shouted from multiple mouths that came right for me. 

"Oof," I grunted as all three of Duncans kids ran into me. I saw Jason lurch forward a little but only a little. 

"Where were you?" asked Shaylie still vice gripping both my legs as she looked up at me. She was their third child and looked just like her momma. Short messy brown bob with blue eyes. Of course at 2 yrs old it came out as "er, er, oo?" 

I bent down and gave her a big hug, "I'm sorry puppy! I was at a hotel," 

"otel? Why?"

"Cause I needed time with your Uncle,"

She got a big grin on her face ," Unle 'yle!"

I knew I turned red, "No, puppy. Your new uncle. Uncle Jason," I pointed to Jason. All three of the kids looked just noticing him. 

"No, unle 'yle," 

"No, Shaylie. Uncle Kyle got a new mate," said Daxton, their oldest. He is six years old and the exact copy of Duncan, who's the exact copy of my Dad when he was younger. Deep brown curly hair with hazel eyes. Daxton was born with the Alpha Strong mark as well. 

"Yeah Shaylie. Uncle Kyle isn't coming back," said Parker. He's the middle boy and 4 years old. He's always running behind his big brother and copying everything he does or says. Not exactly but mostly. He's a good combo of the two. He's got my brother's hair and Layla's eyes. When he grows older the she wolves are gonna go nuts. He'll make a good Beta for his brother. 

"No! unle 'yle!" shouted Shaylie started to cry. I quickly took her on my knee and began soothing her.

Kyle? Jason asked mind linking with me.

Yes, Kyle. He was my chosen mate. He's the only Uncle she knows.

 Hmm, I guess I better be better than Kyle. 

I just chuckled, in my head. Suddenly I heard fake crying coming from Jason. I gave him a funny look. I saw him peer through his fingers. Suddenly I got what he was doing. Shaylie looked at him, dried her nose of snot (yuck!), and went over to him. 

" ason, why cry?"

"Well, when I heard I was getting a niece I was so happy. But now I'm sad because she doesn't like me," he said keeping up the fake crying with no tears. 

"I ike oo," 

"You do?" he asked

"Yeah,"

"Oh, I'm so happy," he said putting his arms out for a hug which Shaylie gladly gave him. "Well I guess since you like me I can give you...this," Jason opened the door and pulled out a life size pink sprarkly unicorn stuffed animal. I had told Jason that Shaylie couldn't get enough of them. Her parents will have to get her one someday. 

"UNICORN!" Shaylie squealed as she hugged it and ran to tell her parents about it. Jason just giggled watching her trying to hawl this huge unicorn to her parents. Daxton and Parker stood with their mouths open. 

Jason then proceeded to pull out two fully state of the art laser tag equipment. "Didn't think I'd forget about my nephews, did ya?" He asked them as they ran over. 

"Whoa, so cool," the boys said in unison as they grabbed them and proceeded to their parents too. 

Jason then proceeded to pull out a basket filled with baby toys, diapers, wipes, and clothes. He shut the door with his hip while winking at me and walked over to Layla. "This is for the youngest,"

"Oh, thank you," Layla said taking it with a big grin of her face. She looked at me who was next to Jason and gave me her 'you got a good one' look. I just chuckled and smiled big. 

"I'm sorry we didn't talk much at the party. Getting my mate and all that, my mind was......focused on one thing," he said pulling me closer. The need to constantly be touching each other was overwelming sometimes. 

"Oh, pff, don't worry about that. We get it. Don't we Duncan?" Layla asked wrapping her arm around Duncan's waist. 

"Yeah, man. Also thanks. Sis hasn't been this happy," Duncan said while shaking Jason's hand. 

Just then my Dad came out of the house with a box. He put it down proceeded to lock the door and put the box in the Uhaul. He shut that door and came over to us. 

"Well that's the last of it," he said taking me in for a hug. 

"Thanks, Daddy," I said into his chest. 

"Anything for you baby girl," he kissed the top of my head, "Well should we get this show on the road,"

"Yes, but first. Jason and I have some news," I said grinning from ear to ear. 

"I KNEW IT! AAAHH!" Layla screamed as she came over and gave me a huge hug.  Dad and Duncan just looked at each other quizically. 

"She has a pup, you nuts!" she yelled at them. They both grew big smiles and came and hugged us both giving congrats. I saw my Dad wipe away tears and nonchallance as he could. 

"The Goddess is wise," my father said. 

We all laughed and loaded up into our cars. Layla and the kids went back home. Shaylie was happy to hear she'll get a girl cousin. So adament about that one. Jason and I were in his car ahead of my Dad and brother in the truck. I couldn't wait to meet Jason's mom and sister. I knew I was gonna like them. His Dad on the other hand, was gonna be a problem. I just know it.  I also remember him telling me his sister found her mate a little while ago too. Hopefully he's nice.
