Willow drove as fast as she could.

Kayson had already understood what happened generally.

Campian had discovered the whereabouts of a thief and was ready to deploy his members to catch the latter, but the thief actually had a peak-level grandmaster accomplice. Campian and his team fell into their trap and were on the brink of death.

It was fortunate that a grandmaster had passed by and saved them, blocking the grandmaster's attacks, or they would have been killed. Despite that, the grandmaster who saved them was severely injured too, and he would certainly die if the battle dragged on.

Naomi did not think much about it as she asked, “What about the captain? Is he badly hurt?”

“The team doctor says that it’s critical. He won’t die right away, but he won’t hold out for long…”
