Ever since Livia was saved in Greenspring, she had never gone out alone.

“I’m not sure either. No one’s picking up when I call Mr. Veal.”

Kayson asked, “I’ll make a trip to Heathein then. Uncle Royce, do you know where their headquarters is?”

“That I do, but is it too abrupt to just go over like this?”

Kayson shook his head. “Not fulfilling what he’s promised me is not something he can just get by with.”

As he spoke, the rumble of the engine was heard from the door. Kayson’s gaze felt off when he scanned with mind expansion and said, “Looks like I don’t have to go there now. Hank’s here.”

The father and daughter were surprised. As expected, Hank’s voice came from the mansion’s door that was left open.

“Mr. Shore, may I come in?”
