It was already past 9:00 p.m. when Sadie woke up. She sat up in a startle and looked around to find that she was in her own house.

‘What’s going on? Wasn’t I at the Shengville Hotel? How did I get back?’

Beatrice noticed that Sadie was awake, so she approached and asked in worry, “Sade, how are you feeling?”
