She hastily opened the door, and behold, Daniel was standing at the door with various bags in his hands. His hair was disheveled and he was in the same suit he wore yesterday. Even his mustache had grown.

Although he appeared unkempt, it only added to his charm, and Ella’s heart felt as if it had been attacked so early in the morning.

Daniel looked at Ella, she was dressed in comfortable home clothes, and she had her hair tied in a simple bun, and a gentle smile on her face.

‘What a great way to start a day!’ he thought.

He was already imagining how he would always come home from work, ring the doorbell, and be welcomed with a warm smile and a loving kiss. The kids would then run up to him asking for hugs and kisses, before helping them with their homework.
