Chapter Two Hundred Seventy Three

Henry.

If there’s one thing I hated most in the world then that would be seeing Gwen angry at me. I hated seeing her cry and even after promising myself that I wouldn’t want to see her cry, I’m still the reason why she cried.

After our little talk in the garden( after Gwen tried to change my mind) she left and went back inside and for the whole afternoon, she refused to talk to me.

She acted like I wasn’t in the same room with her and when I tried to ask her what was wrong, she would act like she didn’t hear me. I felt worse the whole day and no matter how hard I tried to make her speak to me nothing worked.

I sighed as I watched her prepare dinner for us, even after I disagreed with her stressing herself out, she still went ahead to prepare dinner.

Now just watching her do her stuff in the kitchen with that same angry scowl on her face anytime our eyes meet, I knew I had to bring my surprise now.
