Chapter Two Hundred Fifteen

It took a lot of persuasion from Henry to let him go to his company. I didn’t want to let him go but I had to after making sure he was perfectly fine and also after leaving a strict message for his assistant.

I couldn’t go to work either because I was busy taking care of the kids. We haven’t had a fun time for a long time now and I decided to use today as that day.

I didn’t want to take them out because I still feel scared of what’s going to happen if I do take them out. Even though my father had recruited new and trustworthy guards for me, I still didn’t want to leave my home. So we made use of what we had at home. I made sure they were both entertained and their laughter was one thing that could cure a broken soul.

I felt free after our little play, and when it was noon I decided to prepare lunch for us.
