It was almost midnight and the girls and I were still talking, we made sure to give every detail of what was going on in our life and I still couldn’t wrap my head around Nina dating a guy. Well, it shouldn’t have been a surprise to me that she was dating at twenty-one but I was still kinda surprised. Nina promised to bring her boyfriend over one of these days and I couldn’t wait to see the one who made my sister act like a teenager in love.

“Can I come in girls?” Mom voiced from outside and we looked at one another before giggling. Mom still has this attitude of knocking before coming in.

“Of course, you can Mom,” I answered.

The door opened right after that and she walked in already clad in her night dress and her red hair was packed in a messy bun. But she still looked beautiful and sophisticated, just like the lady of the Mars household should look.

“It’s late girls. Why aren’t you asleep yet?” She asked.

“We were catching up on some stuff Mom but we will go to bed as
