Cole’s heart churned and turned in his chest as he pondered over what Naya had said to him. Maybe he had overreacted, he should’ve taken his time to understand what was going on. He took his phone and attempted to call Brittany but then paused and pondered over it.

“What if I’m right about her?…. What if I let her back into my life and she really harms me this time?” He put the phone down and sighed.
