79. Rights and obligations.

Oriaga wouldn't let the servants take care of him, he only wanted Amanda, so they relented—making Amanda quite upset at not being free of the transparent chains on her legs, while Oriaga held the ends of the chains.

Now that the woman was in the kitchen without forgetting to put an apron on her body, Oriaga had ordered that Amanda make food for him because soon the man would have to take medicine.

Cooking was an activity Amanda had never done since living in the mansion, but that didn't mean she couldn't conquer the kitchen. She didn't feel pressured, in fact, she looked relaxed and quite agile when in contact with spatulas and other kitchen tools, while Aunt Rosemary stayed out of the kitchen, although she occasionally watched Amanda from the window on the side of the backyard hallway.

"What do you think Miss Amanda is cooking?" asked one of the maids as she joined Aunt Rosemary and another maid at the window.

"Probably soup, it smells very tempting. Just like Aunt Rosemary's cooking
