The meaning of loneliness

Rose introduces herself to Michel as the two of them take small sips from their wine glasses, which are on the verge of being completely emptied.

"Why are you drinking so much that you're going to get drunk?" Michel inquires of Rose.

Michel is completely ignored as Rose reaches for another glass of wine, dropping her glass on the table and continuing to ignore him.

"My brother is going to come to the hall and he does not like wasted beautiful girls at his party you know just sit for a while," Michel says as he grabs Rose's hand and leads her to the couch.

Rose doesn't say anything in response to Michel and simply sits on the couch.

Liam, the CEO of the company, comes down the stairs by taking two steps back from her.

Michel leaves her alone and goes to introduce himself to the other guests with a frank smile on his face.

As time passes, Michel leaves Liam alone.

After the lights go out and the spotlight shines on Liam, it's such a spectacle that everyone is amazed.

As Rose gets a good look at him, she falls asleep for a moment before awakening and realising that she despises him even more than her father.

Rose recalls being the neighbour of the most annoying boy and now that she sees him as an adult, she still feels a pang of annoyance in her heart for him.

The light is turned back on and Rose closes her eyes because she is exhausted from drinking all of the wine.

As Liam walked across the room, he caught a glimpse of her face and immediately recognised her as the woman that his mother had mentioned to him earlier.

While Rose was sleeping, Liam leans over and smirks over her shoulder at her.

Liam calls Michel and whispers in his ear that she should be taken to the guest room because she was looking exhausted and sleeping in a place where Liam despises seeing her.

Michel nods and wonders if Liam is the same guy who usually dislikes girls who get wasted at his parties and throw them out on the streets.

He also wonders what is wrong with him today because he was never like this before.

The night became chilly, so Michel escorted her to the guest room and instructed the lady servant to remove her dress and change her into something more comfortable for her to sleep in for the night.

The lady servant nodded and went into the room to see what was needed for Rose that night.

Rose spends the night at Liam's villa, but she was such a sound sleeper that she didn't even wake up for a second after being in the guest room for the first time.

Liam was exhausted the next morning, so he quickly showered and left for his place of business, leaving Michel to look after Rose.

Michel has always been a free-spirited individual who enjoys taking his morning walks around the garden.

Rose finally wakes up, and was sitting on the bed, staring at the ceiling and wondering that this is not her house's ceiling.

A silent knock on her door alerts her to the fact that she is in the guest room of the villa from last night's party, as she asks "who is it?"

"Wake up, you sloth, and transform yourself into a woman, because I have to make certain that you are at your destination." Michel groans to the door.

Rose flinches as she gets out of bed and sees herself into another dress as she takes a quick shower and gets herself ready in a black hoodie and sweatshirt to get through the situation.

Rose quickly unlocks her door and discovers that Michel is standing in front of her, scrolling through his cell phone as he says "my brother took good care of you yesterday glad to see you back in your senses miss now we have to go you know I have work too."

Rose smiles and says, "Tell your brother thank you for the night and thank you as well."

Michel laughs and says "if I don't do what my brother says, then I will not be visible throughout the rest of my life because my big-brother is such a pain in the ass."

After a one-hour safe drive, Michel and Rose get out of the car, and Rose invites him to join her for breakfast at her home.

Michel refuses and waves goodbye as he drives his car down the straight road to his place of employment.

Rose climbs the stairs to her room to get ready for work as she unlocks the door, she realises she is freezing because on her bed there is a box wrapped in white gift wrapper with the words.

"my dear daughter I would like to see you within one week your aunt will stop by tomorrow as she is having her day off and this dress is just a gift from me take care" written on it.

Rose walks away from the box and the note and into the shower.

After some time, she goes to her father's office to see what she needs to do in order to be appointed as the company's new CEO.

During the time she was sitting in her chair scribbling on a piece of paper, one of the assistants who would be needed to appoint her assistant calls and informs her that there is a young man who wishes to see her.

Rose puts down her pen and allows her to get an appointment as soon as possible.

Suddenly, the assistant knocks on Rose's office door, asking if she will welcome him into her office while she is making her dress plain with one hand and looking through the glass window.
