Chapter 111

'Kitty' Jennet walked towards her daughter with a smile, she hugged her tightly as she was in a happy mood.

She did something bad and got away with it even when Stanley knew about it, this only means that he still has feelings for her.

'Mama' the two years baby called out and Jennet placed a kiss on her cheeks.

'It's okay that they burnt down the mall, we still have other businesses…so we can't be poor' She laughed when she heard the police siren outside.

'Police?' she was confused when Justin stood upstairs and he rushed down

'Why are they here?' He asked confusedly before they hurried outside.

'Mr. Dempsey,' the investigator called as they approached them.

'Why are you guys here?' he asked and held his wife

'We have an arrest warrant for your wife, take her' he ordered and the cops walked towards Jennet ready to handcuff her

'What, I didn't do anything…why are you arresting me?' Jennet cried out and it got worst when there were journalists in front of the gate held by security.

'You are being arrested for attempted murder, the case against you is strong so I suggest your husband finds you a lawyer…let's go' he yelled enough for everyone to listen

Justin was confused and his daughter cried as her mom was been taking away.

'Mother' she kept crying and this made Jennet's heart ache, was this karma? She saw her baby cry so loud because she was being taken away and this made her cry.

Would Kimberly have felt worst if she had succeeded in killing her baby? Indeed, you will never feel one's pain unless you are in the same situation as them.

It was evening when Stanley parked the car in the Williams mansion, he didn't drive them to his place because he knows Kimberly holds bad memories of that place and he didn't want her to be reminded of those moments.

Brad was already asleep, so Kimberly had to carry him in.

She stood in front of the mansion and stared around, Stanley helped her with Brad as they were about to go in.

'Why did we not go to the mansion?' Kimberly asked, why did Stanley have to bring them to his parent's place instead of knowing her situation with Kyle.

'Thought you will like it here, come' he said as Senior Mrs. Williams hurried towards them.

'Your back' She smiled and took her grandson from Stanley.

'I got the maid to clean your room, I will spend the night with my grandson' She was so excited seeing her grandson that she wanted another one.

'Freshen up and come have dinner, everyone is asleep already' She kept saying with excitement.

'I will be back' Mrs. Williams said and hurried in, Kimberly giggled before walking in with Stanley.

'Still as beautiful as ever' she smiled and Stanley nodded when he received a phone call.

'Go on, I will get this' he said and Kimberly nodded before going upstairs.

She knows Stanley's bedroom as she was there before.

On her way to the bedroom, she came across Kyle. Kimberly smiled at her but she stared at Kimberly with hate and even stopped her.

'You came to San Francisco after you knew I never wanted you here? You are so selfish' She sneered angrily.

'I accept the fact that I am selfish, for my son I could be anything situation wants me to…I don't have any difference with you, so let's stop this'

Kyle smiled 'That's right, I know a way for this to end' She said.

'Tell me, I will be happy to do that, ' Kimberly asked.

'Tell Stanley to get Damon a company and promote him'

'Did Damon say he wanted that?' Kimberly asked as she was trying to see what type of man the Damon guy was.

'You are so wicked…won't you allow my brother to help me?' Kyle spouted angrily.

Kimberly couldn't understand what she did or said wrong 'Since he is your brother then ask him yourself, as you said….I am just a common woman' Kimberly was tired and not in the mood to exchange words.

So she walked past Kyle and got to Stanley's room, and the room was clean and free from dust…she still couldn't understand what happened to Kyle. Why was she so aggressive?

Kyle got downstairs and found Stanley who was on a call, he hung up and walked upstairs without paying attention to Kyle.

'Stanley' she called out loud enough for him to get, but he ignored her and walked towards her room.

Kyle clenched her fist angrily, at first she had a normal relationship with her brother but since they found Kimberly…her life has taken a different turn.

Megan stood downstairs and smiled at the scene 'What funny?' Unise asked as she approached him.

'Hey, Uhm…nothing. I just thought of my sister' he said abruptly and she nodded.

'You texted that we need to talk, so any news?' Unise asked as Megan stared around.

'I was able to organize a meeting with all the drug lords of San Francisco, they are willing to meet tomorrow and see the type of services and product you can offer' he said and was anticipating to see Unise's reaction.

But Unise stayed calm for a while.

'Okay, I will let my men know,' she said and he nodded.

Tomorrow they were going to find out if she was a legit person or was here to outsmart them.

'If you are not the real deal then I promise to send you to your early grave this Early' Megan said inwardly as he maintained his smile.

'You can't beat me Megan's Unise said inwardly as well.

She already knows his plan and will make sure they don't succeed.

Kimberly arrived in the bedroom and found that Kimberly was already asleep on the bed. She must have been tired and decided to sleep.

So he didn't bother her and went to freshen up when he felt a quick sharp pain in his head.

He must have stressed himself at work so much that he needed some pills and also good rest.

So when he was done freshening up, he went downstairs to get water for his pills since the jar in his room was empty

When he arrived downstairs, he heard some murmuring in front of the house so he walked to the door only to find Unise standing there.

'Why are you here?' he asked and she got scared before seeing Stanley and sighed in relief.

Unise held a stick of cigarette and there was also a bottle of wine beside her, which made Stanley frown.

'Your smoking and drinking again?' he frowned and she laughed trying to lighten the tension.

'Do you remember the lyrics of a music…uhm' she thought for a while when the lyrics came to her mind.

'One day you will leave this world alone, so live a life that you will remember' she tuned and Stanley snatched the cigarette from her before stepping on it.

'And you are living the wrong life, there is more to life than smoking, drinking, being a spy, and more' He said and she shook her head.

'I don't think so, I wish I don't make it on my next mission' she said painfully.

'I am 29 but still got no relationship, my dad left us and my mom has always been busy with her husband and kids…you are the only one who loves me for all my flaws' She smiled and Stanley felt bad.

'How is it with your target?' he asked and took a cigarette stick from the box before smoking it.

'He also takes me for a fool, but I already dealt with far better men than him' she said proudly.

'The only reason this Mission is taking long is because he is gay, if he was a straight guy then this would have been a mission accomplished already' she added.

'Be careful' That's all he could say to her. He was not the type to give comforting or motivational words.

'And come back alive' he added before throwing the cigarette and walking in.

'If you want to smoke then you better finish the stick' She said angrily as he threw the cigarette without taking more than five draws.

The next morning, Kimberly woke up and found that Stanley was not in bed. She freshened up and saw some clean clothes placed for her in the wardrobe and there was a note on it.

'Bright morning sunshine' she smiled and thought of the paper Annie handed to Stanley, what was in it?

'Kimberly, your parents are here' Unise stood by the door and said, hearing this Kimberly became nervous.

It's been four good years and she hasn't talked or seen her parents and worst of all she hated them for the wrong reason.

She breathed heavily before going downstairs, her mother cried out and hugged her tightly.

'Kimberly, my daughter' She kept crying and felt so happy, she has been living in guilt for the past four years and now she was at ease.

Kimberly broke the hug and walked towards her dad as if she had wronged him more, but the unexpected happened as he slapped her hard across the face.

'Mr. Parker' Stanley stood up angrily.
