I smirked at the expression on her face when we came out of the tattoo shop about an hour later, and she scowled at me.

"What?"

"Just thought you should do a better job of estimating your pain tolerance next time."

She scoffed, "Says the person who didn't get any tattoo."

I scoffed too, "At least I didn't overestimate my pain tolerance."

She scowled even more if that was possible and turned away from me once she got into the car.

"Just drive!"

I smiled at her reaction and leaned in to grab the seatbelt, making her gasp when she turned to see me.

"What are you doing?!"

"This." I raised the seat belt and buckled it properly before starting the car.

"You could just have said that."

"I tried."

"Well, you could have tried harder."

I smiled and drove the car out of the park before glancing at her again. She was cute with that scowl on her face.

"Well, we're here." I said after a few minutes of silence in the car, and she couldn't get out fast enough.
