«TRISTAN'S POINT OF VIEW»

I flipped through the pages of my book, going through the words one more time but the sound of my phone chiming erupted one more time for the pasted hour, I didn't bother staring at it to know who was calling as I ignored it and went back to studying.

"That's the fourth time Tristan" Sean spoke from where he was lying on the bed, legs stretched out reading a magazine. "Are you not going to answer the call?" He added and I shook my head.

"I don't want to, Dean must have sold me to dad already, am pretty sure that's why he's been calling none stop" I replied, staring at the passage in my book, trying so hard to understand but being distracted, I slammed the book shut, my mood instantly turning sour. My gaze went over to my phone beside me and watched as it stopped ringing.

"Your dad is gonna find out sooner or later Tristan. You can't hide it from him forever. This

"You know how much I hate homosexuality and my son suddenly turned out to be gay and you want me to freaking accept that and the man is fucking seven years older than you and he happens to be my friend!!!" My dad yelled out in pure wrath, while my stepmom was trying to hold him back from jumping on me for the second time. And from the corner of my eyes, I could see Dean smirking in satisfaction, making my anger boil as I felt like strangling the life out from him, my gaze went back to my raging father. Angry green eyes staring into another set of green which wasn't good."I don't care Dad and there's nothing you can do to change what I feel about Sean!!" I yelled out, I could feel the veins popping out from my forehead as I stared at my father with pure frustration. My dad tittered bitterly. "You think I can do nothing about it. I'll cut you off from every inheritance!!""I DON'T CARE!!!" I screamed

«TRISTAN'S POINT OF VIEW»A day, it had been a day since I was closed up in my room, I couldn't contact anymore because my bag had been taken away. As I sat on my bed with my elbow pressed on my thighs and my body leaned forward, I couldn't help but worry and fuss.Impatiently my legs tapped on the floor and my thumbs throbbed against each other. What was the meaning of this? The pain on my body was barely gone, my head was still bandaged and the pound in my head wasn't helping.Suddenly, my head snapped up when I heard voices and I sharply stood and went over to the door, wanting to bang on the door but it was useless because I had been doing that earlier but as my hand twisted on the door handle, it opened without effort. My eyes widened.I didn't stay there to contemplate as I slowly walked out from the bedroom, with steady and quiet steps

»JARVIS POINT OF VIEW»A whine vacated my lips as my eyes unhurriedly fluttered. I felt a pound, my cranium jabbing and it felt awful. My hand clapped over my forehead while my eyes shut and reopened. What happened? The question hazed my senses while slowly, my vision cleared and my eyes widened as I took in my surroundings. How did I get here?!I was encircled by nothing, the space was empty, just an enormous room with white walls and a white floor while I was resting at the corner, my body rested against the wall. What in heaven’s name happened? Again, I implored but the query went unanswered as usual. I stared at the door a bit far away from me, I bit my bottom lip as I tried to lift myself but ended up falling back, black dots suddenly took over my sight, and circles swirl.Another sensitive wail left my lips as a stinging sensation came from my nape. Slowly, my hand went over and my eyes widened as

«Jarvis Point of View» The next day, I was able to regain myself and I found myself sitting beside Levi on a couch, body leaned down, head lowered and hands joined in front of me while our parents were sitting opposite of us, just staring. Yeah, Mom was discharged last night and had invited us over to have the talk I was trying so hard to avoid, wishing and praying for it to never happen but here we were, while my prayers and wishes fell on deaf ears, made me wonder if anyone was up there to listen to my rant. The quietness was nearly deafening. I could count the minutes that had passed and it was fidgeting, nerve-wracking as I continuously rubbed my palms together and the sound of the clock ticking against the wall was even more annoying, I never knew it was that loud or I have never noticed before but suddenly, Dad cleared his throat and my skin nearly left me as I jerked startled and from the corner of my eyes,

JARVIS POINT OF VIEWThe two days, I landed in Canada, Toronto. With a bag hanging on my shoulder, my head hidden beneath and my hands tucked into the pockets of my sweater, I walked out from the airport and got a cap, instantly giving him my address and he drove off while I was trying so hard not to panic. This was not how I expected to visit Tristan home, this couldn’t even be considered a visit. The car moved for an hour or so before it stopped in front of a hospital parking lot and I got out and just stared at the entrance and seconds later, I decided to see for myself. I asked the lady at the desk for directions before heading towards room 105, checking the numbers written at the top of the doors till I finally came to a stop in front of room 105. My heart nearly flee out from my chest

Jarvis Point Of View"Kid" A voice called over my ears and I turned on the other side, groaning, wanting whoever it was to go away. "Jarvis, Levi is here"Almost instantly, my eyes shot opened and stared around rapidly but found no Levi in sight but a grumpy Sean, staring down at me unimpressed. I pouted."You know Levi""Personally, No. Didn't care to find out who" he blurted, his expression cold and I crossed my hands over my chest."You're so blunt, how do Tristan put up with you", I growled and he shrugged."I wonder too," he thought out loud and I stared at him weirdly but he grabbed the back of my sweater and pulled me up from the chair. "Your shift is over, go eat" he took over the seat.I sighed, my eyes sadly moving to Tristan's still bloodless face. It had been more than two weeks already and still no sign of life though he move

Jarvis Point Of ViewFrom the corner of the room, I stole a glance at a calm looking Sean, it was like the ordeal with Mr. Dan two hours ago never took place but he appeared colder as he stared blankly at Tristan’s face, it made him look so unapproachable which was the reason why I wasn’t blabbering questions yet.He had a daughter? He was still part of the Mafia, I thought he left that life behind? He knew how Tristan’s mother died?He had a disgusting past with Tristan’s Dad?Who was Mr. Dan, was he all that he claimed. Why didn’t he wish for his son to be happy?I suddenly cringed when thoughts of Sean and Mr. Dan being together penetrated my mind. That was repulsing, sickening. And just when I thought I would die from this awkward atmosphere, the door opened and a cheery

Jarvis PovPatiently, we sat waiting in a little restaurant. I sighed for the nth time since we arrived and popped my elbow on the table and my chin to my palm and blew hot air out my mouth.“Are you tired, Jarvis?”My eyes glanced up at the voice, found Sean going through his phone. I frowned. “Are you kidding me, we have been here for almost an hour”“Don’t you have a phone, call Levi, or play a game” he voiced without looking up at me.I pouted my lips. “Levi has been avoiding me, I plan to give him a piece of my mind when I return. I’m gonna beat the shit out from him” I breathed out. “I miss LA”More like I miss Levi.Sean nodded. “She will be here, patience is a virtue I heard”“Right now it isn’t. Can’t we just

JARVIS'S POINT OF VIEW.I stretched my arms backward as the morning sun pierced through the window of my room, my eyes shut and a placid smile displayed on my lips. I shifted my body, trying to turn on my side but I perceived something hefty on my tiny waist. Insensibly I beamed wider, repositioning my body closer to whatever lying abaft me, yearning more of what it had to offer, warmth, security, and sensation, I yearned extra of it.Sluggishly, my eyes fluttered open, the first thing coming into view was the pale white ceiling of my room. Pokily, my sleepy gaze shifted down to my body to discover an arm engirdled around my front. Slowly, I turned on my side, coming face to face with the catnapping features of my treasure. The only one with the authority to make him say yes when I had already said a big no to others. I chuckled inwardly, feeling jelly inside having my lover this near after so

TRISTAN'S POINT OF VIEW "Have this?" I lifted my head at the voice and found a bowl stretched out to me and I accepted it with both hands and just stared at the hot soup inside. "You should drink, it's good" I nodded before bringing the bowl to my lips and gulped every content inside and handed the bowl back, wiping my lips with the shirt sleeves. "Are you okay, is there something you would need?" The thick voice inquired again and I shook my head. I didn't want anything, I wanted to say but the words forbade to abandon my lips, and then, I heard him sigh before sitting down before my line of sight and my eyes couldn't help but scan his features and realized nothing had changed over the past two years, he looked young yet matured. I averted my gaze, not wanting to stare any longer, and just fondle with my hands. "Are

"Are you hungry?"I lifted my head at the voice, found the crazy woman holding up a sandwich to my face but I averted my gaze, who knew if it was poisoned."You don't want it, suit yourself then" she shrugged and took a large bite from it before going back to her seat on the branches. My head went up as the sun burnt down on my skin. How long had it been since I was tied up, yeah,...two days. I have been held up against the trees for two days with this woman as my watch guard. With a weary sigh, my head lowered."How long am I going to stay like this, it's better if you just kill me instead," my voice came out hazardous, weak."Not yet, dear"Slowly, my head went up as I heard crunching sound of branches and footsteps and I watched as Mrs. Benita sauntered towards us with a little smile on her face, her eyes were not the brown I kn

Snap snap, snap! The sound of snapping of fingers pulled me out from my unconscious mind as my eyes opened but it was a blur in front of me. I shook my head, trying to get rid of the cloudiness but cold liquid was smashed on my face, and instantly, I jerked and shivered violently as the chilling water graced my eyes and my vision was more filled with water till a cloth was wiped over my face and my sight cleared and found a woman in front of me and my eyes widened while her pale lips smirked, her blue orbs glimmering."Hello, Jarvis's Friend" she waved cheerfully at me, and horror finally struck me to the core."How come you're here?" The words left my mouth baffled, stunned but the strong breeze that brushed my skin had me quivering again, especially from the cold water that soaked my body and that was when I saw the timbers ahead of me, the dry, green leaves of the forest and behind me was a

TRISTAN'S POINT OF VIEWI released the unpleasant tie around my neck as I sauntered into the mansion. One by one, I popped the buttons on my coat and slipped them off my shoulders, and hung them over my shoulder as I headed straight for the kitchen but met my stepmom and little nuts chopping some vegetables on the counter. My stepmom smiled as soon as her eyes landed on me and I nearly flinched at how ample her smile was, it was approximately eerie and boycotted a nerve in my system. She needed to stop smiling like that "I wasn't expecting you so early today"I walked over to the fridge and helped myself with a glass of water before answering... "I finished work early""Oh, you will have to wait a few more minutes then, dinner is not ready" she announced and I nodded."Where's dad?""In his room, you should go get him"

Tristan's Point of View«TWO YEARS LATER»“Tristan, are you going to keep ignoring me, is that it?”I finally glanced up from the files spread on the table before me, stared up at the taxing voice, and found one of my dilemmas over the past two years of my life. Miss Jessica Stones, my so-called fiancée. I scoffed at the thought.“What’s that sound for?!” She mandated and I stared at her blankly, placing my elbows on the glass table in my office which was located on the highest part of the blinding, I interlocked my hands and rested my chin on the back of my palms.“May I know the reason why you’re here, Miss Stones,” I polled.“When are you going to drop the formalities, we are getting married”

JARVIS POINT OF VIEW«ONE WEEK LATER»Seven days had passed with no sign of Levi. The police had stopped the search since there weren't any outcomes, they declared him deceased, finding nothing but his piece of clothing in the ocean. It had been two days since I discharged myself, ignoring the doctor's warning, I couldn't sit around knowing my Levi was gone, I didn't believe it, not when my heart said otherwise and here we were again, in the little village beside the ocean, where Levi's clothing was found, going around, asking whoever we saw if they had seen the man on the picture and so far, no one identified him but I didn't give up, even though I walked around with a limp. I believed Levi was still alive and I was going to find him. I didn't wish to sit around in that hospital bed and cry any further."Can we take a break?"I reele

JARVIS POINT OF VIEWI curled up my knees to my chest, disregarding the pungent pain from my thigh, rolled in a white bandage, fresh blood already drenching it, it had been only two hours since the nurse changed and it was already ruddy.Maybe because I was fretting and emphasizing it too much, dismissing the continuous warning of the doctor to keep the leg stretched, even with the red flag of disability over my head, I couldn't stop myself from toiling, fussing, fearing. I wrapped my arms around my legs, hugging them close to my chest.I could feel fear squirming through my veins, anxiety, I twitched internally. I could feel my eyes trying to flutter shut every chance they get but I struggled to keep them open, soldered to the door, waiting, anticipating it to open any time soon.It had been more than twenty-four hours already, what was taking them so long to get he
