Evelyn

A few hours felt like an eternity. I was acting like a desperate puppy, and I didn't know what was wrong with me.

Had I always been crazy about Jacob, or was this new? I couldn't tell, but his presence meant a lot to me. I wanted him close all the time and even found excuses to keep him from going to the gym.

For me and my enigmatic thoughts, it would be very much logical to suggest myself as an exercise for him.

"Sex burns calories, doesn't it?" I asked Jennie, who was painting her nails beside me, while Mason checked out guys on I*******m, and Nancy searched through her luggage.

"I guess it does," Jennie replied.

Maybe I could offer him...

"Why are you suddenly so curious? Is it because you are feeling tired after getting your cherry popped?" Mason teased, showing that he was not only into checking out men but also keenly listening.

"Shut up!" I blushed red and threw a pillow at him, which he effortlessly dodged.

"Oh come on. What's there to feel shy about when you have alread

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Flames Of The Old Flame

EvelynThese past few minutes had to be the most excruciatingly awkward moments of my life. The room fell into a deafening silence, and the intense eye contact between Jacob and this woman named Chloe Spoke volumes and yet revealed nothing at the same time. There was an undeniable tension, evident from the way his jaw clenched and anger flickered in his darkened green eyes while he stared at her.Could she be an ex-lover? A relationship gone sour, perhaps? That seemed like a plausible explanation. For the briefest moment, Jacob looked at Dad, raising his eyebrow in a way that felt almost threatening. I noticed Dad awkwardly shifting in his spot, shooting a glare at Clara, who still appeared clueless. So, was it true that Dad hadn't invited Chole? Most likely, yes.Since Clara and I handled most of the invitations using Dad's old diary, which contained the names and numbers of his old friends and colleagues, Dad probably had only a faint idea of the guests we'd invited."Jacob..." • My Dad's Bestfriend    Bleeding Emotions

EvelynAs Dad knocked on the door, there was no response. The eerie silence emanating from his room only intensified the twisting feeling in my gut. I wasn't sure what I should do. If Dad weren't here, I might have just barged through the door without a second thought. He was a grown man, fully capable of handling his emotions, so why did I feel so anxious? Why did I have this overwhelming need to help him, even when I wasn't sure if he actually needed me?Fuck! I hadn't thought I'd end up falling for him so deep. It felt insane. I was being driven to the brink of madness."Jacob, I know you're in there. Please, just open the door, okay?" Dad asked. But once again, there was no answer from Jacob."Jacob?"Was he even in there?"Man, open the door. This is my house!"My eyes widened, and I impulsively slapped Dad's arm, "Dad! You can't solve this like you solve our arguments. He's not your kid, for God's sake!" I whispered urgently."Then what am I supposed to do?" he asked, lowering h

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Behind The Facade

EvelynI do not want to open the door— That's what I tried to convince myself as I struggled to remain in my place, battling my own inner turmoil. Why was he here? He shouldn't be second-guessing himself given how composedly he had uttered those words, sharp as daggers, without a hint of hesitation. He had won that round—slipping away effortlessly."Evelyn?"Damn! The timbre of his voice tugged at me, and I resented how much sway he held over me and I despised how much control he had over me.Anger surged within me, and I wiped away my tears, determined to stand my ground. I got off the bed, determined not to let him affect me any longer. Enough was enough.I opened the door. "Why are you here? Want me to book a plane ticket for you?"Instead of the quick response I had expected, he looked at me, his eyes taking in my tear-stained face and the evidence of my crying. His gaze softened. For a fleeting moment, my anger wavered, but I clenched my fists, holding on to it.He was dressed as

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Rendezvous in Secrecy

Evelyn "Whoa, is this yours?" I asked, my eyes locked onto the sleek motor yacht resting gracefully at the marina. It was beautiful. Having ventured on numerous yacht tours due to my father's unwavering affection for coastal areas, I thought I had seen it all. But this vessel was a real beauty. "No, it's not mine. If you want to see mine, you'll have to accompany me to Italy," he replied, his fingers intertwining with mine as he guided me aboard, "However, for tonight, it belongs to us. I've arranged for its booking.""Wow, it's absolutely stunning," I marveled, stepping inside, "I've never come across anything quite this beautiful.""Hey, my yachts are even better," he chuckled, walking towards the bridge, "This was the closest match I could find here.""Sure thing," I rolled my eyes, trying to get on his nerves as usual, "You talk a big game. I bet your taste isn't that great.""Careful now, young lady," he said with a sudden change in tone, grabbing my jaw and gently pressing me

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Crimson Desires

EvelynHe trailed kisses along my neck as I found settled on his lap, my legs straddling him as he took full advantage of the position. His mouth moved in all sorts of motions. With each move, he made it impossibly hard for me to sit still; My hands fisting his shirt begged for more— more access to his body just like he had to mine. A soft laugh escaped my lips, barely audible, "So, was this your grand plan, Mr. Adriano? Bringing me here to take advantage of me?""I can take advantage of you, anywhere I want, young lady," His laughter resonated, a deep and enchanting sound that sent ripples of pleasure down my spine, a testament to the effect he had over me.God, I hated it, and hell, I loved it at the same time."Overconfident, aren't we?" His gaze locked onto mine, a fire burning within his eyes, as his fingers gently caressed my neck, before they wrapped around my throat, eliciting an involuntary gasp from me."What if I say yes?" His voice was a husky whisper, his lips teasingly

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Moonlit Confession

EvelynI gently traced my fingers along his jawline, careful not to disturb his peaceful slumber. He appeared breathtakingly beautiful, an unconventional sort of magnificence that brought me tranquillity instead of the usual racing heartbeats. After numerous times of literally fucking the shit out of each other that left us both physically spent, we had succumbed to sleep a few hours ago. But my rest had been short-lived. Perhaps fate or maybe god himself willed me to witness this scene, granting me the privilege of marvelling at its creation and seizing the opportunity for himself to brag about it.Indeed I could give him the credit. Jacob was, in my eyes, flawless.I brushed aside a lock of his chestnut-brown hair that had fallen onto his forehead. The colour complemented his skin tone seamlessly, radiating a subtle shine. I could have easily spent the entire night just observing him. The idea wasn't all that bad, considering sleep had eluded me. Fair enough, isn’t it?"A grown man

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Painting Memories

EvelynI slowly climbed up the stairs, taking deliberate steps to avoid making any noise. It almost felt as if I were on a mission to take down some motherfucking mafias, armed with a gun. Perhaps, if I had a real one in my hand, I might have transformed into a brave little soldier, with my muscular accomplice trailing behind me. This almost felt like a thrilling movie, yet simultaneously, I was fucking stressed. The last thing I wanted was to get caught.A hushed laughter echoed through the hall, causing my gaze to snap back and focus on Jacob, standing beside me."Jacob, be fucking quiet. If someone happens to find us now, it's over," I whisper yelled at him, disbelief in my eyes. He appeared to find the situation amusing. The clock showed it was nearly 6:00 in the morning. Judging by the mansion's silence, I knew that all the guests, including my father and Clara—who both slept bulls—were fast asleep. Not gonna lie, occasionally, I found myself doing the same."Nobody's going to fi

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Shared Secrets

Jacob"Hey, man," I strolled over to Samuel, spotting him perched at the bar, the half-empty beer bottle indicating that this guy didn't bother waiting for me before taking his share. But what could I say? This was so typical of Samuel; he'd always do what he wanted and think about the consequences later."Well, good to see you," he said, his demeanour had returned to normal now that he knew I wasn't mad at him anymore. However, a hint of caution lingered in his eyes as he glanced at my hands, as if checking for any hidden weapons. There was a time when I had used a kitchen spoon to beat him up, leaving some significant scars that took days to fade. Of course, he hadn't let that slide. He returned the favour, with interest."Why all dressed up?" he asked, handing me a beer bottle. "Went somewhere?""Yeah, just went for a walk," I shrugged it off, finding it the easiest excuse to conjure. In reality, my mind was consumed with thoughts of undressing Evelyn, piece by piece—watching each

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Make Me Your Bride?

Evelyn"You know, Evelyn... you're the only woman I've ever met who complains about shopping too much," Jacob chuckled, his deep voice resonating with amusement as we strolled down the pavement hand-in-hand.I rolled my eyes, but the smile tugging at my lips betrayed me. After a marathon of "extra shopping" we'd stuffed the car's backseat with bags and parked nearby for a walk—because I insisted, of course. As we wandered through the peaceful evening, enjoying the crisp air and easy conversation, my eyes suddenly caught sight of a street-side ice cream shop. I stopped mid-step, my gaze locking onto the neon-lit counter like a moth to a flame.Jacob noticed immediately. "You want ice cream?" he asked, already grinning."Yes, please!" I chirped, tugging him toward the shop. When we reached the counter, Jacob, knowing me better than anyone, placed the order without hesitation. "One cookies and cream, please.""And," I added, "a mint chocolate chip."He raised a brow at me. "Evelyn, I don

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    We Are Okay

Evelyn I had somehow managed to send Jacob to the office after an entire week of… well, do I even need to spell it out? Let’s just say we thoroughly tested every surface in the house—counters, the floor, the bed, the shower, the bathtub—nothing was spared. We’d been inseparable. And even now, sitting alone on the couch, I found myself missing his warmth. Usually, by this time of day, I’d be curled up in his arms, both of us pretending to watch cartoons on the TV. I liked them because they were silly and comforting; he liked them because he could watch me laugh. But today, the cartoons felt hollow. I sighed, flipping through channels, hoping to stumble upon something decent. And then, there it was.I paused mid-click as a familiar name from the news anchor pierced through my disinterest.“Tyler Ricci…”My hand froze, the remote slipping from my grasp as the screen showed him—Tyler Ricci, striding into a courthouse, his lawyers trailing behind like shadows.“Tyler Ricci, CEO and propri

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Wild Passion

EvelynJacob drove with reckless abandon, the car slicing through the night as the engine roared. The wind rushed in through my open window, sharp as a blade yet strangely smooth, wrapping around my hand as I held it outside. The music played softly in the background, barely audible over the wind's howl. Jacob had his hand on my thigh, soft and soothing.I glanced at him. His focus was entirely on the road, his jaw set in quiet determination. Unable to resist, I leaned closer, kissing his jawline, then his cheek, then trailing it slowly to the corner of his mouth. His eyes flicked toward me, his grip on my thigh tightening, the green of his irises darkening like the night enveloping us.Teasingly, I shifted my lips to the other corner of his mouth, hovering just enough to feel his breath. Then, I brushed against his lips, soft and deliberate. I felt him stiffen beneath me."We could both die right now, Evelyn," he growled, his voice low and warning. "Do you want that?""What if I said

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Young And Alive

Evelyn"You know people are going to think we're weird if you keep looking at me like that," I said, shifting awkwardly in my seat. My attempt to maintain a composed smile was failing miserably, and the heat creeping up my neck warned me a blush was imminent. After an exhausting hour of meeting Jacob’s business associates, Enzo’s friends, and a handful of extended family members, we had finally found a moment to sit. But Jacob—predictably—wasn’t letting the moment breathe. His eyes were locked on me, piercing and unwavering, as if I were the only person in the room."I don’t give a fuck about what people think," he replied, his tone casual but his gaze anything but. He leaned in, the back of his fingers brushing against my cheek, sending a shiver down my spine. "I’m admiring my girlfriend. That’s nobody’s business but mine."A smile threatened to break free as I looked at him, trying to keep my composure. "You really have an answer for everything, don’t you?"He grinned, that maddenin

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Heat Before Party

Evelyn"Honey, you look absolutely ravishing in this dress," Eliot declared as he ran his fingers through his green hair—a habitual gesture he repeated every two minutes without fail. His lips curled into a grin as he added, "God! You’re a freaking goddess!" He pressed his fingers against his lips dramatically, as if silencing his own awe.A soft chuckle escaped me as I reached out to ruffle his hair. "Thanks, Ellie.""You’re most welcome, Evie," he replied before turning to his assistant, who had already begun packing up their tools and supplies.I shifted my gaze to the mirror, unable to suppress a small smile at my reflection. The black, one-shoulder evening gown shimmered subtly, hugging my curves in all the right places. My hair, neatly styled into an elegant bun, paired perfectly with the understated nude makeup that complemented my skin tone. The black heels added a touch of height, accentuating my posture and elongating my frame.Well, I looked really pretty today. No one else

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Crazy Lovers

EvelynAfter what felt like an hour of relentless bickering and a barely controlled wrestling match, Jacob and Bianca finally collapsed onto the couch. Both were panting, disheveled, and bruised—though we all knew Jacob had gone easy on her. Let’s be real: one solid punch from him could probably send ten Evelyns and ten Biancas straight to heaven."Are you two done now?" I asked, trying—and failing—not to laugh. Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined I’d witness two grown adults behaving like this."Yeah," they grumbled in unison, their synchronized reply only making my lips twitch with amusement."Great," I said, standing up. "Once you two finish catching your breath, we’re setting the table together. I’m starving, and I’m sure you are too."Jacob, of course, couldn’t help himself. "Well, I doubt we can eat if Bianca cooked."Bianca’s head snapped up like she’d been personally insulted by the gods. "Excuse me, you absolute piece of shit in the name of human! If you don’t want to e

Evelyn “We’re already late,” I sighed, resting my chin against his chest. “We really need to get up and head to Bianca’s, or she’s going to kill us.”“We can be a little late,” he murmured, effortlessly flipping us so I was on my back, with him hovering above me. Slowly, he buried his nose in the crook of my neck, inhaling deeply. “God, you smell so good.”“Dummy,” I chuckled, threading my fingers through his hair and massaging his scalp. “It’s already past breakfast time. If we don’t get there soon, she’ll be plotting our deaths.”He hummed, pressing a kiss to the spot between my neck and shoulder before trailing his nose along my jawline. “Trust me, baby. Since she invited us for breakfast, she probably has a secret dinner planned too. Besides, she knows us.”“She knows us?” I raised an eyebrow, gently grabbing his jaw and making him look at me. “What’s that supposed to mean?”“What I mean,” he began, his left hand slipping under the duvet and tracing my inner thigh, “is that she k

  • My Dad's Bestfriend    Back To Italy

Evelyn “Welcome back.” Jacob scooped me up the moment I stepped inside the apartment, spinning us around before I even had a chance to take a step on my own. I laughed, holding on tighter as he twirled us, our laughter filling the familiar space.“Silly,” I whispered as he settled us on the couch, cradling me in his lap like a baby. Jacob always treated me like one, and honestly, I didn’t mind being spoiled. After the long flight, I should’ve felt tired, but the moment we breathed in the air of Italy, any exhaustion disappeared. And being back in this apartment, where we’d built so many memories—the good, the hard, the unforgettable—felt as sweet as it was bittersweet.“You have no idea how empty this place felt after you left,” Jacob murmured, his eyes scanning my face as if memorizing every detail. “It was like I was dying a little every day. The silence, missing your warmth, your scent, the soft sound of your footsteps… it all just killed me, baby. I love you.” His forehead presse
