Chapter 12. Stay Here

"Claire, hurry and leave before Jason scolds you. He hates you now more than ever. He even said that you should have died 5 years ago, you shouldn't have come back to life," Mandy said as if she felt sorry for Claire.

 

 

 Claire originally thought that she couldn't feel sad anymore because of that man. She was already numb. But after hearing Mandy's words, she couldn't help but feel depressed.

 

 

 She laughed, "If he wants, he can make me die again, I don't care."

 

 

 "Claire..." Mandy was really in a hurry, "Jason's hatred for you has never changed, why do you defy him and hope instead? Hurry and leave before he comes."

 

 

 Mandy's words pierced Claire's heart. The man she loved wanted her dead. She remembered well the last words she heard before she passed out in the fire five years ago. That Jason had set the fire on purpose to kill her, right? How tragic.

 Jason was surprised, but said in a contemptuous tone, "An evil woman like you doesn't deserve to be pregnant! Now I'm even more convinced that you don't deserve to be a mother! It's a good thing that child is dead. Otherwise he would have become a criminal."

 

 

 As soon as Jason said that, Claire slapped him. She clenched her fists and shook with anger.

 Madison and Mandy immediately tried to help Claire, but were pushed away by Jason.

 

 

 He looked at Claire's red face and said in a contemptuous tone, "Didn't you love your son so much? You should have died with him. Why are you still alive?"

 The child kept screaming her name. In order to cure his illness, he had to be allowed to see Claire as soon as he woke up.

 

 

 Madison said angrily, "Why does she have to stay here until Calvin wakes up? She's the one who hurt him, remember?"

 

 

 Jason said nothing and just stared at Claire. He tugged on her arm.

 

 

 At that moment, Claire couldn't help herself. She started to lose consciousness, but she couldn't faint in front of Jason.

 

 

 She gritted her teeth and laughed lightly, "I don't want to take care of your son. Kill me or... let me go!"

 

 

 "You ..." Jason yelled, nearly breaking her wrist.

 

 

 Seeing Claire go pale, Madison rushed over. She knew that her friend's illness had returned and immediately went looking for medicine for her. "Did you forget to take your medicine today?" She asked immediately and found the medicine in her bag.

 

 

 Just then, Mandy suddenly said sadly, "Claire, if Calvin loves you so much, what's the harm in staying here and taking care of him for a while when he wakes up. Now you're even pretending to be sick, it's embarrassing."

 

 

 "Shit! Shut up!" Madison couldn't stop talking and quickly took a pill from the bottle.

 

 

 But then Jason threw the bottle on the floor and yelled, "Claire, I'm done! Even if you're really sick, even if you're going to die, you have to stay with Calvin!"

 

 

 Before he could finish speaking, Claire suddenly vomited blood in front of Jason, which immediately stained the man's shirt.
