Sienna cringed at the sight she walked in on. Alyssia was on Azriel's lap and his tongue was shoved deep down her throat. Her nose wrinkled in disgust. And what revolted her, even more, was Alyssia's lewd moans.
"Ohhh..I want your wolf to ravish me," Sienna's face burned with embarrassment at Alyssia's statement. Her anger was eclipsed by embarrassment. She contemplated leaving and confronting him when he wasn't busy tongue-fucking Alyssia. But apparently, she took too long to come to a decision as Azriel had already spotted her.
"Can't believe our luck. Her Highness is here to visit us," Sienna was turning when she heard his sarcasm-laced statement. She knew he hated her because she was close to his father. He was convinced that she had her eyes on the crown. For him, she was nothing but an opportunist. Initially, the Alpha and late Luna tried to make him warm up to her but it didn't work. One day, Alpha Jarek proposed to adopt Sienna but for some reason, it set Azriel off. He categorically rejected the proposal and even threatened to sever his relationship with them if they ever went through with it. He had stated unequivocally that he didn't see and would never see her as his sister. The plan was dropped instantly.
She tried to mend her relationship with Azriel but only to meet with disappointment. It seemed he was hell-bent on hating her.
Sienna paused and gulped.
She saw him pulling to his feet from her peripheral. Her heart picked its pace as he started towards her. Alyssia was next to him.
"So what brought her Highness here?" he mocked.
Sienna closed her eyes and took a breath in an attempt to calm down the irregular pounding of her heart. One of the hardest things in the world for her was to meet his soul-piercing stare.
Once she felt a little confident, she opened her eyes and turned to face him. He was already standing in front of her. She had to crane her neck to look up at him.
He had a smug expression on. The corner of his lips was tugged up into a conceited smirk. That fueled her rage. How could he be so nonchalant after almost killing an innocent person? He was powerful but lacked big time in the department of empathy.
He quirked a brow in question when he saw defiance flaring in her eyes. Despite his gesture, she didn't lower her gaze. Her disobedience didn't sit well with him.
"Looks like her highness has forgotten the rules," he stated in a dark tone. His smirk was intact but there was a fierce warning in his eyes.
"Babe, I think your sister needs a reminder," Alyssia placed a hand on his chest and suggested in a sultry tone. Her tone would automatically change from arrogant to sultry when around Azriel.
Her statement brought out an immediate reaction from him. He grabbed her wrist in a painful grip and turned his eyes on Alyssia.
"She is not my sister," he growled darkly while fixing her with a threatening glare. There was something forbidding in his eyes. Alyssia swallowed with difficulty. She winced when his hold around her wrist tightened more, blocking the circulation of blood.
Sienna, who was looking at the engagement quietly, couldn't ignore a flicker of fear that she felt for Azriel.
It was not a secret that Azriel had a real bad temper. No one could guess what would have him raging like a bull. He was like a ticking bomb.
However, the topic of her being his sister always managed to tick him off.
"Now get the hell out of here," he shoved her hand with a jerk. Alyssia immediately cradled her wrist and dashed out without looking back. Sienna felt the urge to follow her out.
Azriel shifted his gaze to Sienna.
"So for what do I owe this pleasure?" he asked, staring into her eyes with a smirk.
Sienna summoned all her courage and spoke up.
"He..he almost died. Why..why did you do that to him?" she lifted her chin to feign bravery.
His smirk broadened into an amused smile.
"So he didn't die, eh?" he remarked and folded his arms across his large chest while looking down at her. The move made him look even more intimidating. He was quite tall. She reached up only to his chest.
"Leave him alone," she stated in a stern tone. His casual attitude about this whole matter was baffling. A boy almost lost his life because of him and he was hoping for him to die.
Something akin to bitterness seeped through his features.
"Why? Why are you so concerned about him? Do our little princess has a crush now?" his smile broadened and he eyed her mischievously but Sienna had caught a hint of annoyance in his tone.
"Because he is my friend and he has done nothing to you," she ignored his question and answered solemnly.
"A friend?" he burst into a fit of laughter.
"Did no one tell you, princess? A loser like you don't have a friend. I am sure he is after your brain or maybe after your plain, pathetic body," he replied derisively while surveying her from tip to bottom.
"It is difficult to believe the latter though so I am betting on the first one," he concluded.
Sienna couldn't help but feel offended by his comment. He knew just how to make her feel bad about herself.
"I've just come to tell you not to bother him again," she said and was about to turn when he grabbed her wrist and pushed her against a desk. She had to clutch the edge of the desk to not fall back.
He strategically caged her between the table and him by putting his hands on either side of her waist. He leaned down, making her lean back.
"I don't take well to orders, moonshine. So don't ever boss me again. The consequences will not be good," he seethed in her face, causing a cold shudder to run down her spine.
"And as for that pathetic loser. The more you will plead his case, the more I will go after him. He is a coward and spineless jackass.....just your type," he added venomously.
Sienna glared at him with utmost hatred.
"You are impossible. I am done with it. I am done with you," she spat, resentfully.
With his towering height, he was looming over her tiny frame. Their faces were mere inches apart. They both were fiercely glaring at each other.
The corners of his lips lifted into a smirk.
"Really?" he purposefully drew closer, causing her to lean further back. Her elbows were supporting her weight now.
"But I don't remember you doing anything with me. Does it mean you want to do something with me?" he asked goofily as he leaned closer, to her discomfort. Her eyes turned wider in astonishment when she realised the double meaning of his words.
"Get away," she stated in a stern tone.
"Let's strike a deal. I will stop bullying that cocksucker. But in exchange I want something," he whispered the last part in her ear before pulling away with a sly smile. In her guts, she felt apprehensive about his statement.
Her brows scrunched in confusion.
"What?' she asked lastly. She was intrigued to know his answer but at the same time also dreaded it.
"Would you sleep with me to save him?" he whispered the words sinisterly in her ear.
Her face paled and her eyes widened in shock. Did he really say that? She stared at him dumbfounded, not sure how to react to this.
He took a moment to gauge her stunned expression before letting out a loud guffaw.
She blinked at him, perplexed, as he howled in laughter.
"You really thought I would ever fuck someone like you?" he sputtered between his laughter.
A sharp pain stabbed her heart.
"I will not touch you even if someone paid me for that," he snorted in disdain.
No doubt his words hurt her not because he didn't want to touch her but because of the tone he used. It was full of disgust. Was she that bad? But she decided not to give him the satisfaction of seeing her hurt so she kept her expression neutral. She averted her gaze and repeated what she had come here for.
"Le..leave him alone, please," she said in a low tone and turned to leave.
'Or what if I won't," he challenged her. She paused and licked her lips.
"I will tell the Alpha king," she answered with a thumping heart.
Not a moment later, she found herself being spun around and staring into a burning pair of silver orbs.
"You think it's a good idea to blackmail me? Where did you get this confidence from?" he asked and then a vicious smirk fell over his lips as if some evil idea had struck him.
"Go ahead. Tell him. But after that I won't be responsible for what happens with your friend," he threw malignantly.
She swallowed.
He let her go with a jerk.
Dazed, she turned around. Her feet hurriedly carried her out of the room as she felt warm tears invading her eyes.
She wiped them off instantly.
After taking her classes, she decided to visit Dustin's home.
Dustin had recovered to a great length but his ankles still needed a day to recover.
Sienna told him about Azriel's animosity toward her. She didn't want to drag him into her problem so she came clean. Dustin, now, realized why he suddenly had become a target for Imperials. Sienna told him that he can leave her but Dustin refused. He liked Sienna's genuine nature and he wasn't going to leave her just because someone didn't like their friendship.
Sienna and Dustin had some chat before she bid goodbye to him. He said he would see her in school tomorrow.
King Jarek had summoned her in his study after dinner. She made a coffee for her and the Alpha king.
After knocking twice at his door, she entered the room.
Her feet froze to the floor when she saw another person in the room.
Azriel.
"Come on in, Sinni," Alpha Jarek cut short her shock. Azriel twisted his neck to look at Sienna.
He smirked knowingly.
Sienna averted her gaze and stepped inside. She walked up to the Alpha and gave him his mug.
Azriel leaped to his feet and grabbed teh second mug, leaving nothing for Sienna.
"Thank you," he uttered and took a sip of the coffee.
"Too much sugar," he remarked and made a face. Sienna scowled at him, of course, he wasn't looking.
"It tastes good," Alpha Jarek assured her with a smile. She returned it with her own. Azriel simply rolled his eyes and took another sip.
"Sit down, Sinni," Alpha instructed her. She complied.
"As you know, Sinni, we have the annual mating ceremony coming next week. Although it happens under the Alpha King's supervision this year, Azriel has volunteered to organize it. And he needs an assistant for the cause. I couldn't think of a better name than yours. You are responsible, committed, and organized. I think you will do the job just perfectly. What do you think?" Alpha Jarek asked her with hopeful eyes.
Sienna found herself in a tight spot. She didn't want to work with Azriel but she also didn't have the guts to refuse Uncle Jarek. Not when she knew it was his attempt to improve his relationship with his son.
Alpha King had become lonely after the death of Luna. His son had also walked out on him. This was the first when Axriel had come to initiate a conversation with Jarek which was suspicious no doubt. Why all of a sudden did Azriel become excited to organize the mating ceremony?
"Umm..I think I am no.."
"I told you she won't be able to do this. She doesn't have it in her. She is just too boring. I think Alyssia would be a good choice," Azriel stated, looking ahead at his father. Sienna turned to him in disbelief.
"Azriel," his father warned him in a raised tone.
Azriel rolled his eyes, leaned back, and folded his arms.
Sienna straightened up and lifted her chin.
"I'll do it," she replied in confidence. Her eyes were trained on Jarek.
Jarek smiled proudly at her.
'I believe in you, beautiful," a genuine smile spread across Sienna's face and she nodded at him.
About fifteen minutes later, the duo walked out of his study.
"Be at the venue at 4 in the morning. I hate latecomers," he told her strictly while staring meaningfully in her eyes. She wanted to laugh at his remark. It sure sounded like a joke from someone who had acquired a certificate in coming late. He was the latest comer of the century.
"4 is too early," she said meekly.
"I also hate those who like throwing their unsolicited opinion on others. So refrain from doing that moving forward," he squinted his eyes and looked around. He started walking away from her towards his wing.
"But.."
"At 4 o'clock sharp," he raised his arm and put four fingers up for her without looking back. He continued to walk.
She huffed a sigh and glared daggers at his retreating back.
"I can feel your stare on me. Tone it down a bit," he threw over his shoulder without halting.
She squinted.
Swear to the moon goddess, she hated him.
Her sticky eyelids peeled apart to reveal a pair of glazed blue orbs. Another day, the same nightmare. With tears trickling down the corner of her eyes, she stared fixedly at the ceiling and waited for her racing heart to calm down.Once she felt a little better, she spared a glance at the clock. It read 3:54. She quickly got down from the bed and headed towards the bathroom to start her day.The wild and icy wind lashed her face the moment she stepped out of the castle. She shivered and hugged her jacket closer. One of the downsides of not having a wolf was to not have any protection from cold. It was still dark and deadly quiet outside if the howling of the wind is not taken into account. She cursed Azriel under her breath and marched ahead. The ground where the Mating ceremony was going to take place was all by itself. Not a single soul could be seen on the premises. She couldn't for the life of her understand what was it that couldn't wait
Sienna was on tenterhooks. Her last meeting with Azriel had left her restless and so very confused. Hours had passed but she still wasn't able to recover from those silver orbs and those cryptic words, that had sounded even more enigmatic in his deep baritone voice. Such a deadly combo. She could still feel a faint tremor quaking her body. She was so nervous that she couldn't concentrate on any of her classes. Dustin wanted to discuss the project a little more after school but she couldn't bring herself to focus. Yet again that beast of a man had stolen her peace. She lifted her gaze and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a blue baggy t-shirt and cotton shorts. Her shorts were hidden as the shirt reached her mid-thigh. She stared at her reflection and wondered how her parents' death had alienated her from herself. After her parent's death, Sienna had turned into a quiet child. Her vivacity, sassiness had died do
To say Sienna was gobsmacked by his question would be an understatement. She gaped at this finest specimen in front of her with her mouth dropped open and eyes as wide as a saucer. He, oblivious to her reaction, continued to stare fixedly at her virgin lips as if they were the only thing in this world that mattered to him. His orbs were ablaze with a predatory glint. She was cold with apprehension."Has they ever been ravished to the point of bleeding? Do they know what sin tastes like?" his dark long lashes fluttered lightly when he looked up to meet her gaze."Do they know what a man tastes like?" he peered deep into her eyes and questioned. His hot breath kissed her lips as he drew closer. There was so much intensity in his eyes, so much passion in his voice. It stirred something inside her. And now that his face was this close to her that too without a scowl on, she realised how devastatingly beautiful he was. Her analysis of his appearance abrupted whe
She felt nothing but blinding terror as the wolf lunged towards her with the intention of ripping her in shreds. Her bones turned to water when he let out a menacing snarl. She was so going to die. Her brain begged her to take off running but her feet refused to budge. Her body felt numb. Not even a shriek could escape her mouth.Terror-stricken, she squeezed her eyes shut on the wolf. Her brain had shut down. She ad stopped breathing now and was waiting for the numbing pain to pierce through her and claim her life. But that didn't happen. Instead, she heard another growl, far more threatening malicious. There were two wolves here. Her eyes shot open at the realization. Her terror swelled twice over when she saw two wolves circling each other. One of them was the rouge who was about to attack her and the second one was.....her eyes turned wide with astonishment when she realized who the second one was. Only one wolf had fur as black as the night itse
The ride back home was quiet, saving for Azriel's snide comments which he threw now and then for having to haul Dustin's second-hand car. If it was for him, he would have wrecked his poor excuse of car. Sienna was preoccupied with what the luna of the pack had told her. She told her that the murderer was employed in their house for the last one year as a servant. No one ever paid him any mind. He always stayed in the shadow. Luna also disclosed the unusual activities that preceded Alpha's death. Several dead bodies were found on the border of the pack including the body of their healers. Shortly after, a heap of over 100 dead bodies of ravens was found at the front of the mansion. "Daydreaming about that cocksucker?" Azriel queried, staring at the road ahead. His question broke her from her thoughts and she turned to look at him. That angular jawline, those contoured cheekbones, that straight aquiline nose. She had to admit his
She was pushed back by the impact and was about to fall back on her butt when a pair of large, firm arms caught her by her waist. She gripped the bulging biceps and looked up to find a set of steely eyes staring down at her with a hint of concern. She had never thought his presence would bring this much relief to her. Large, hot dollops of tears rolled down her eyes as she looked at him with terror-struck eyes. "What's the matter with you? And what are you doing here?" he grabbed her arms and queried. 'I..I..please..he..he is after me...I..I saw his eyes..." she was shivering badly in his arms. "Calm down. No one here. Just relax," he scanned the treelines. They were all alone. "You don't understand. I..I saw him. I looked into his eyes...he..he is here," tears continued to show down her eyes as she tried to explain to him. "Moonshine, you ar.." "Why is he here? I..I know it's him. It...it
He mashed their lips together into a fervent, heated kiss. His hot lips felt like a piece of fiery cinder, burning her, branding her. Electric tingles shot from her lips down to her spine as he ate them voraciously. Her heart was galloping like a frantic horse. As if he wasn't satisfied with their closeness, he wounded his arms around her tiny waist and pressed her tight against his body, not leaving a breath of distance between them. Her gasp lost into his mouth as he deepened the kiss."Open your mouth for me," he whispered hoarsely against her lips. She was too stunned to comprehend what he had said. He looked intoxicated and his half-closed eyes were fixed on her lips. Her lips were giving off a seductive glow, all thanks to his wicked ministrations. They were swollen and redder than usual. They were tempting him to ravish them some more. His hands crept down her waist and grabbed her ass. She stilled when he pushed her lower body against his hardness.
The loud pounding of her heart deafened her to the laughter of people surrounding her. Her legs thrashed in search of land and her hands flailed desperately to cling onto something but the water continued to drag her down. The more she tried to push herself up, the more she was pushed down by the pressure of water. Her lungs gasped weakly for the last breath of air only to get raided with water. She felt water storming her ear and nose. Her eyes itched both with tears and pool water. She just wanted to breathe one last time. Her nerves were frazzled and her heart was close to bursting out. Her consciousness was slipping away. She closed her eyes on the fading reflection of the light above her. "Help," she murmured before closing her eyes. In distance, he heard a loud splashing sound but that was all her senses allowed her to hear before they shut. The w
Azriel took a deep breath to calm his raging nerves. After spending years as a rogue the fact that today he was finally going to get his curse broken felt surreal. Reagon had shifted last week. He was ten now and was ready to revoke the curse. Sienna hugged him from behind and kissed his nape. "What are you thinking?" she asked. Azriel turned and gave her a soft smile. "Nervous?" she asked. Azriel nodded. "You are gonna be fine," Sienna assured him with her magical smile. When she smiled everything seemed to be falling in its place. Ten years and he was still crazily in love with her. She adjusted his tie out of habit before fixing his hair. Azriel cradled her face and kissed her mouth. Her kisses had a healing power in them. He always felt at ease whenever she kissed him. Sienna knew that so she let him devour his mouth. The ceremony started shortly. Azriel was standing at the altar and his son was standing across from him. Sienna and others were standing in the hall. As the re
Sienna woke up early in the morning feeling discomfort. The pain intensified by every second. She was in labor. The woman gripped her ballooned stomach and moaned in pain. Azriel was snoring next to her. "Azriel," she grasped his sleeve and breathed. His brows furrowed before he opened his eyes. His features twisted in alarm when he saw her breathing heavily. "I..it's time," she managed through her pain. Realisation came quickly to Azriel. "Hold on," Azriel quickly scooped her in his arms. He dashed out of their room and descended the stairs while shouting for the servants. A man came rushign towards them and bowed to the royal couple. "Call Dr. Hamilton and tell him to prepare," Azriel commanded the servant and raced past him. "You are going to be alright. Just take deep breathes okay?" Azriel kicked off the engine and sped the car. He rubbed her hand and kept assuring her throughout the ride. In ten minutes he was in front of the hospital. Quickly rounding up to her side, he p
The pregnancy hormones had gotten the better of Sienna. She was waking up nauseated every morning. Even though she had gone through all this once before it still felt like nightmare. Whoever said pregnancy duration is the best time of a woman's life was a damned liar. There was nothing good in feeling pukish all the time. The only consolation was that she wasn't the only one suffering this time. Azriel was here too.Azriel had witnessed a major shift in his mate during the pregnancy and it would be a lie to say it didn't terrify him. Whatever happened to his sweet obedient mate. She had turned into a control freak with her senses heightened exceedingly. Last night she jerked him awake just because hee was breathing tooloud and it was disturbing her sleep. The man had to sleep on the floor the rest of the night. Coffee was completely banned from the house as its smell repulsed her and let's not talk about eggs. Not too many days ago she didn't let Azriel inside the mansion because he
Sienna was without breath as she waited for the arrival of her mate and son. She had made Reagon’s favourite food with her own hand. There was an indousable smile on her face since the moment the messenger had come bearing the news of her son’s rescue.Currently she was standing by the window. Her hopeful eyes were fixed on the iron door. Her heart soared with happiness when a black car showed up in front of the Iron gate. A screeching sound emerged as the gate opened to let the car in. Sienna turned to rush out of her room and down the stairs to welcome her family. Tears of joy were in her eyes. Her heart was constantly at knot the whole night. The gate opened just when she climbed down the last step.Reagon’s gray eyes immediately latched onto Sienna and he lefthis father hand to run towards his mom. Sienna caught him and hugged him tightly while crying.“I am so sorry, baby….Mommy is sorry,” she sobbed against him.“Why are you sorry, Mommy?” the boy leaned back and asked in confus
They left the castle together as the sun descended into the pit of oblivion. Azriel, Sean, and Violet were riding ahead. Violet had sheer determination written over her face as she rode along the werewolves. She was waiting for a chance to exact her revenge on her bitch of mother. She finally got one. That woman had killed his father for her manwhore. They were riding on horses as the jungle was too dense to allow movement to car. With these mighty warriors alongside her, she was certain of victory. Azriel also had a fire burning inside him. He was going to pluck those eyes who dared to cast an evil glance at his family. That witch will have to pay for every sin she committed and the biggest of them all was to abduct his son.“I honestly believe that this witch is misleading us,” Sean sent a suspicious glare in Violet’s way.“ Keep talking and I’ll turn you into a frog,” Violet replied in a casual manner. Sean’s glare intensified.“Bloody witch,” Sean muttered under his breath“As
Sienna felt as if someone had pulled the ground off her feet. "What?' Azriel asked, equally shocked. "A girl had seen him running after a cat towards the garden. We checked the garden he is not there," Sean's voice was shaky with worry. "Did you..did you check his room? He must be in his room," Sienna piped in. Her voice held a tremor. "We did..He is not there," Sean answered. Fear gripped her heart instanly. Her maternal instincts were yellign at her that something was wrong. "My son," Sienna staggered back as tears streamed down her eyes. Azriel held her. "I'll find him, Sienna. He must have strayed off while playing," Azriel assured her but there was an edge in his voice. Azriel rushed out the room and began looking for Reagon. They searched every corner of the castle, from court to dungeon but there was no trace of Reagon. The boy had disappeared. Sienna was panicking now. She had no idea where her son was. Whotook him and why? The guards had also seen him playing with a
Sienna felt his questioning gaze searing through her skull but there was nothing that could stop her now. She had made up her mind. Everyone was taken aback by the declaration. It was a rare sight to see the reigning monarch to abdicate the throne for someone else. "But he is a rogue," one of the guests voiced out. The comment was biting but she kept her calm. "It is nowhere written that a rogue can't be a King and also we have figured a way to accept him back into the pack so it shouldn't be a problem," Sienna explained. "We will discuss more about it during the next pack meeting. For now, please, enjoy your time here and have a hearty meal," Sienna added with her regal smile. With that said, the spotlight was taken off her and the light flooded back in the room. Azriel stormed off without saying a word. Sienna watched his retreating back with sad eyes. She had upset him. She hoped he would understand her. She was doing it for him, for them. She blinked away from him and lay he
"Ma'am, you are looking stunning," the woman complimented Sienna. Sienna thanked her make-up artist with a smile before giving a once over to her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a red color offshoulder gown. Her eyes turned wide a fraction in amazement. She had never looked this gorgeous. "Wow...you are a magician," Sienna admired the woman, impressed. The woman chuckled. "Why thank you, ma'am. But truth be told I've done nothing. The sparkle in your eyes and the glow on your face has made all the difference," the woman replied honestly. Sienna couldn't deny this fact. She was glowing from within since Azriel's return. She was happy in a real sense and the news that Azriel had broken to her yesterday had only added to her glow. She was living the best of her life. She was pregnant. Azriel was sniffing her like a dog when she had woken up yesterday morning. His eyes were full of joy when he told her the news. Sienna took a momentto process but when she did she was on the
A week flew by in a wink. How? she wouldn't know. It was already time to go back home. She still had not sobered up from all the love Azriel was drugging her with. Oh, that's what his love was. A drug. "Ready?" Azriel skipped down the stairs carrying a bag. Sienna spun to look at him and shook her head. Azriel smiled and walked up to her."We will come back here very soon," he kissed her forehead and promised her. Her eyes lit up. "Promise?" she innocently blinked her long lashes at him. They were lighter than feathers but the power they hold was terrifying. Those black wings had made his poor heart skip its beat several times. Deadly, right? "Promise," he whispered smilingly. The duo set out on their journey back to the castle. The holiday had helped heal the wounds that even the time couldn't. They needed each other more than the time. Reagon ran into his mom's arms the moment she climbed down the stairs.Sienna grinned widely and lifted her baby in her arms. "I missed you, mo
