With a last fierce blow, he ripped the punching bag into shreds.
“Fuck,” breathing heavily, he rubbed a hand down his face and looked heavenward. A dollop of sweat leaped off his squared chin and tripped down his neck. It lazily trailed over his adam apple and towards his huge, defined chest. His large, inked body covered in a thin layer of sweat looked like an erotic deception.
He closed his eyes and a pair of cerulean orbs flashed through his mind.
“Fuck,” he breathed hoarsely and peeled his eyes open. Damn those eyes. They had been tormenting him for years now. So cruel yet so innocent. Their innocence had struck him hard. Countless nights he had burned in desire of possessing those ocean eyes. It was a craze obsession but he loved seeing himself in those orbs. Many times he caught himself fantasizing about them. How would they look filled with tears of pleasure? He bit his lip, feeling his member waking. Fuck! The things he wanted to do with the owner of those eyes.
Truth be told, those eyes had captured his interest the very moment they had collided with his. It had felt like a collision of two stars; enchanting but also destructive. And he immediately hated the effect they had on him, she had on him. He was a born ruler, a conqueror, how could he let a little orphan have power over him.
Being the only child, he had grown into a possessive being and so he couldn’t bear how everyone had started fawning over her since the moment she stepped in. Her growing proximity with his father added fuel to the fire. He envied the closeness and so he started bullying her. She never fought back. Her submission fed to his obsession and emboldened him. He loved his effect on her.
He grabbed a towel and started wiping his hair while walking out.
His phone pinged. He opened it to see a message from Alessia.
Was thinking about you all night long.
He smirked and threw the phone in his bed before getting in the shower.
Azriel lived in the left-wing of the castle. His interaction with his father had dwindled to nothing after his mothers’ death. His mother was killed by rouge and he blamed his dad for that. She would have been alive if he had banished the rouges from their territory. They were still allowed in. Azriel voted for their annihilation.
He was going to wipe them off the earth once he would become the King.
After getting ready, he headed out for school.
His pulled into his usual parking spot and climbed out of his Lamborghini. He was donning a black shirt and pair of jeans. As usual, the girls drooled over him as he passed them by and boys looked at him either with admiration or envy.
“Azriel,” Lucas walked over to him and they did a bro hug.
“Coach was asking about you?” Lucas told him as they walked through the corridor, attracting everyone’s attention.
“That old man. Why now?” he asked.
“Heath opted out, we need one more player as the match is around the corner. Since you are the captain, you will have to be there for the audition,” Lucas shrugged. Azriel rolled his eyes.
“I always knew he was a pussy,” Azriel disclosed. Lucas nodded.
They reached the basketball premises.
Jack threw the ball towards him which he caught with ease. And just like that, the practice rolled on.
Sometimes, in the middle of the practice, he got a whiff of her scent. Strawberry and Vanilla. His concentration broke and he stopped. His gaze started searching the ground for the owner of the mouthwatering scent. After a few moments, he found her. There she was. Exiting the library wing with a stack of books in her hand. Typical nerd.
But that nerd almost knocked him off his feet when she suddenly smiled. A tightening feeling grew inside his heart as he stared at her like a creep. He hated to admit it but she looked gorgeous when she smiled.
Instinctively, his gaze shifted to the person walking beside her. Burning jealousy licked through him when he saw Dustin. They were chatting like close friends. Wasn’t he just his project partner? He curled his fists as he shot daggers at him from there. This pesky filthy asshole was becoming a thorn in his side. They were doing a project together but that didn’t mean he had to be glued to her hips all-fucking day long.
He didn’t like their closeness. Not one fucking bit.
Hot rage swell inside him. He puffed his chest and swiveled. His seething eyes narrowed at his rival before he pounced over him and snatched the ball at the speed of lightning. Dribbling the ball, he steered it towards the hoop. The men chased him but his speed and strength were unrivaled. His taller height and magnificent physique gave him an advantage over others.
Instead of throwing the ball into the hoop, he hurled it in her direction. Not a moment later, a shriek reverberated in the air.
“Fuck,” Dustin cursed and covered his face. The ball had hit him right in his face. His broken glasses fell to the ground, shattering into tiny pieces.
Sienna’s eyes widened in shock. She was caught by surprise. It took her a moment to process what had just happened.
“Shit. Are you alright?” she asked him as she watched him in concern.
“Yes, I am fine. My glasses,” he crouched and picked the broken parts of his glasses.
“They broke,” Dustin sighed out as he examined his broken glasses. Sienna crouched as well.
“You sho..”
“Your eyes broke,” A mocking voice cut Sienna short. The remark was followed by a roar of laughter.
They both looked up and found the Alpha Prince towering over them along with his stooges. He was looking down at them with a smug smirk while spinning the ball on his one finger. Sienna was so tempted to slap that damn smirk off his face.
Azriel arched a brow at her when he saw the defiance flaring in her eyes. Sienna begrudgingly dropped her gaze and focused on Dustin.
“Let me take you to the dispensary,” Sienna held Dustin's shoulder and offered.
Azriel clenched his jaw. The amusement in his eyes had long vanished. Her concern for him wasn’t settling well with him.
“Wolves can heal fast unlike you, runt,” Azriel gritted out harshly. His eyes refused to move from her damn hand that was currently sprawled on his fucking shoulder. He will break his shoulder.
Sienna ignored his harsh comment and looked at Dustin with concern.
“I’ll be fine,” he answered her unasked question. Azriel rolled his eyes. What the fuck she was so concerned about. He had just hit him in the face. No biggie.
“Okay,” Sienna replied though, unconvinced, and finally took her hand off him. It is only then Azriel felt a little better. But the insecurities had already taken root.
Dustin and Sienna got to their feet and were about to turn when Azriel’s comment stopped them.
“So desperate for a boyfriend. Pathetic,” he spat contemptuously. A sharp pain pierced through her heart when his words sank in. He thinks this low of her? She was nonplussed.
Her gaze shifted to Dustin. A weight settled over her heart as she wondered what he must be thinking of her. Dustin, however, did away with her concern by flashing her a warm smile and nodding his head in assurance.
They left without replying to his rude remark. Azriel, still spinning the ball on his finger, watched her retreating back with repressed irritation.
Sienna was walking towards her next class when someone grabbed her arm and pulled her into a dark room. Before she could scream, a hand clamped down over her mouth. Her eyes widened in pure terror as the attacker pushed her front against the wall with his own body. She felt restless as a muscular body continued to press against her.
Desperate to break free, she started clawing at the large hand.“I wouldn’t dare to scream if I was you, princess,” his rough voice slid like a wisp of scorching air over her skin. She held her breath as realization dawned upon her. It was him.He slowly pulled his hand down. She whimpered.“Ssshhhh…no noise or,” he whispered hotly in her ear as he rested his hands on her waist. Applying a little pressure, he turned her around. The graceful slope of her waist urged him to explore more of her but he restrained. Her glossy blue eyes were sparkling like a star in a moonless night. Then he forcefully pushed her back against the wall and thrusted forward until there was just a breath of distance between them
Sienna cringed at the sight she walked in on. Alyssia was on Azriel's lap and his tongue was shoved deep down her throat. Her nose wrinkled in disgust. And what revolted her, even more, was Alyssia's lewd moans."Ohhh..I want your wolf to ravish me," Sienna's face burned with embarrassment at Alyssia's statement. Her anger was eclipsed by embarrassment. She contemplated leaving and confronting him when he wasn't busy tongue-fucking Alyssia. But apparently, she took too long to come to a decision as Azriel had already spotted her."Can't believe our luck. Her Highness is here to visit us," Sienna was turning when she heard his sarcasm-laced statement. She knew he hated her because she was close to his father. He was convinced that she had her eyes on the crown. For him, she was nothing but an opportunist. Initially, the Alpha and late Luna tried to make him warm up to her but it didn't work. One day, Alpha Jarek proposed to adopt Sienna but for some re
Her sticky eyelids peeled apart to reveal a pair of glazed blue orbs. Another day, the same nightmare. With tears trickling down the corner of her eyes, she stared fixedly at the ceiling and waited for her racing heart to calm down.Once she felt a little better, she spared a glance at the clock. It read 3:54. She quickly got down from the bed and headed towards the bathroom to start her day.The wild and icy wind lashed her face the moment she stepped out of the castle. She shivered and hugged her jacket closer. One of the downsides of not having a wolf was to not have any protection from cold. It was still dark and deadly quiet outside if the howling of the wind is not taken into account. She cursed Azriel under her breath and marched ahead. The ground where the Mating ceremony was going to take place was all by itself. Not a single soul could be seen on the premises. She couldn't for the life of her understand what was it that couldn't wait
Sienna was on tenterhooks. Her last meeting with Azriel had left her restless and so very confused. Hours had passed but she still wasn't able to recover from those silver orbs and those cryptic words, that had sounded even more enigmatic in his deep baritone voice. Such a deadly combo. She could still feel a faint tremor quaking her body. She was so nervous that she couldn't concentrate on any of her classes. Dustin wanted to discuss the project a little more after school but she couldn't bring herself to focus. Yet again that beast of a man had stolen her peace. She lifted her gaze and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a blue baggy t-shirt and cotton shorts. Her shorts were hidden as the shirt reached her mid-thigh. She stared at her reflection and wondered how her parents' death had alienated her from herself. After her parent's death, Sienna had turned into a quiet child. Her vivacity, sassiness had died do
To say Sienna was gobsmacked by his question would be an understatement. She gaped at this finest specimen in front of her with her mouth dropped open and eyes as wide as a saucer. He, oblivious to her reaction, continued to stare fixedly at her virgin lips as if they were the only thing in this world that mattered to him. His orbs were ablaze with a predatory glint. She was cold with apprehension."Has they ever been ravished to the point of bleeding? Do they know what sin tastes like?" his dark long lashes fluttered lightly when he looked up to meet her gaze."Do they know what a man tastes like?" he peered deep into her eyes and questioned. His hot breath kissed her lips as he drew closer. There was so much intensity in his eyes, so much passion in his voice. It stirred something inside her. And now that his face was this close to her that too without a scowl on, she realised how devastatingly beautiful he was. Her analysis of his appearance abrupted whe
She felt nothing but blinding terror as the wolf lunged towards her with the intention of ripping her in shreds. Her bones turned to water when he let out a menacing snarl. She was so going to die. Her brain begged her to take off running but her feet refused to budge. Her body felt numb. Not even a shriek could escape her mouth.Terror-stricken, she squeezed her eyes shut on the wolf. Her brain had shut down. She ad stopped breathing now and was waiting for the numbing pain to pierce through her and claim her life. But that didn't happen. Instead, she heard another growl, far more threatening malicious. There were two wolves here. Her eyes shot open at the realization. Her terror swelled twice over when she saw two wolves circling each other. One of them was the rouge who was about to attack her and the second one was.....her eyes turned wide with astonishment when she realized who the second one was. Only one wolf had fur as black as the night itse
The ride back home was quiet, saving for Azriel's snide comments which he threw now and then for having to haul Dustin's second-hand car. If it was for him, he would have wrecked his poor excuse of car. Sienna was preoccupied with what the luna of the pack had told her. She told her that the murderer was employed in their house for the last one year as a servant. No one ever paid him any mind. He always stayed in the shadow. Luna also disclosed the unusual activities that preceded Alpha's death. Several dead bodies were found on the border of the pack including the body of their healers. Shortly after, a heap of over 100 dead bodies of ravens was found at the front of the mansion. "Daydreaming about that cocksucker?" Azriel queried, staring at the road ahead. His question broke her from her thoughts and she turned to look at him. That angular jawline, those contoured cheekbones, that straight aquiline nose. She had to admit his
She was pushed back by the impact and was about to fall back on her butt when a pair of large, firm arms caught her by her waist. She gripped the bulging biceps and looked up to find a set of steely eyes staring down at her with a hint of concern. She had never thought his presence would bring this much relief to her. Large, hot dollops of tears rolled down her eyes as she looked at him with terror-struck eyes. "What's the matter with you? And what are you doing here?" he grabbed her arms and queried. 'I..I..please..he..he is after me...I..I saw his eyes..." she was shivering badly in his arms. "Calm down. No one here. Just relax," he scanned the treelines. They were all alone. "You don't understand. I..I saw him. I looked into his eyes...he..he is here," tears continued to show down her eyes as she tried to explain to him. "Moonshine, you ar.." "Why is he here? I..I know it's him. It...it
Azriel took a deep breath to calm his raging nerves. After spending years as a rogue the fact that today he was finally going to get his curse broken felt surreal. Reagon had shifted last week. He was ten now and was ready to revoke the curse. Sienna hugged him from behind and kissed his nape. "What are you thinking?" she asked. Azriel turned and gave her a soft smile. "Nervous?" she asked. Azriel nodded. "You are gonna be fine," Sienna assured him with her magical smile. When she smiled everything seemed to be falling in its place. Ten years and he was still crazily in love with her. She adjusted his tie out of habit before fixing his hair. Azriel cradled her face and kissed her mouth. Her kisses had a healing power in them. He always felt at ease whenever she kissed him. Sienna knew that so she let him devour his mouth. The ceremony started shortly. Azriel was standing at the altar and his son was standing across from him. Sienna and others were standing in the hall. As the re
Sienna woke up early in the morning feeling discomfort. The pain intensified by every second. She was in labor. The woman gripped her ballooned stomach and moaned in pain. Azriel was snoring next to her. "Azriel," she grasped his sleeve and breathed. His brows furrowed before he opened his eyes. His features twisted in alarm when he saw her breathing heavily. "I..it's time," she managed through her pain. Realisation came quickly to Azriel. "Hold on," Azriel quickly scooped her in his arms. He dashed out of their room and descended the stairs while shouting for the servants. A man came rushign towards them and bowed to the royal couple. "Call Dr. Hamilton and tell him to prepare," Azriel commanded the servant and raced past him. "You are going to be alright. Just take deep breathes okay?" Azriel kicked off the engine and sped the car. He rubbed her hand and kept assuring her throughout the ride. In ten minutes he was in front of the hospital. Quickly rounding up to her side, he p
The pregnancy hormones had gotten the better of Sienna. She was waking up nauseated every morning. Even though she had gone through all this once before it still felt like nightmare. Whoever said pregnancy duration is the best time of a woman's life was a damned liar. There was nothing good in feeling pukish all the time. The only consolation was that she wasn't the only one suffering this time. Azriel was here too.Azriel had witnessed a major shift in his mate during the pregnancy and it would be a lie to say it didn't terrify him. Whatever happened to his sweet obedient mate. She had turned into a control freak with her senses heightened exceedingly. Last night she jerked him awake just because hee was breathing tooloud and it was disturbing her sleep. The man had to sleep on the floor the rest of the night. Coffee was completely banned from the house as its smell repulsed her and let's not talk about eggs. Not too many days ago she didn't let Azriel inside the mansion because he
Sienna was without breath as she waited for the arrival of her mate and son. She had made Reagon’s favourite food with her own hand. There was an indousable smile on her face since the moment the messenger had come bearing the news of her son’s rescue.Currently she was standing by the window. Her hopeful eyes were fixed on the iron door. Her heart soared with happiness when a black car showed up in front of the Iron gate. A screeching sound emerged as the gate opened to let the car in. Sienna turned to rush out of her room and down the stairs to welcome her family. Tears of joy were in her eyes. Her heart was constantly at knot the whole night. The gate opened just when she climbed down the last step.Reagon’s gray eyes immediately latched onto Sienna and he lefthis father hand to run towards his mom. Sienna caught him and hugged him tightly while crying.“I am so sorry, baby….Mommy is sorry,” she sobbed against him.“Why are you sorry, Mommy?” the boy leaned back and asked in confus
They left the castle together as the sun descended into the pit of oblivion. Azriel, Sean, and Violet were riding ahead. Violet had sheer determination written over her face as she rode along the werewolves. She was waiting for a chance to exact her revenge on her bitch of mother. She finally got one. That woman had killed his father for her manwhore. They were riding on horses as the jungle was too dense to allow movement to car. With these mighty warriors alongside her, she was certain of victory. Azriel also had a fire burning inside him. He was going to pluck those eyes who dared to cast an evil glance at his family. That witch will have to pay for every sin she committed and the biggest of them all was to abduct his son.“I honestly believe that this witch is misleading us,” Sean sent a suspicious glare in Violet’s way.“ Keep talking and I’ll turn you into a frog,” Violet replied in a casual manner. Sean’s glare intensified.“Bloody witch,” Sean muttered under his breath“As
Sienna felt as if someone had pulled the ground off her feet. "What?' Azriel asked, equally shocked. "A girl had seen him running after a cat towards the garden. We checked the garden he is not there," Sean's voice was shaky with worry. "Did you..did you check his room? He must be in his room," Sienna piped in. Her voice held a tremor. "We did..He is not there," Sean answered. Fear gripped her heart instanly. Her maternal instincts were yellign at her that something was wrong. "My son," Sienna staggered back as tears streamed down her eyes. Azriel held her. "I'll find him, Sienna. He must have strayed off while playing," Azriel assured her but there was an edge in his voice. Azriel rushed out the room and began looking for Reagon. They searched every corner of the castle, from court to dungeon but there was no trace of Reagon. The boy had disappeared. Sienna was panicking now. She had no idea where her son was. Whotook him and why? The guards had also seen him playing with a
Sienna felt his questioning gaze searing through her skull but there was nothing that could stop her now. She had made up her mind. Everyone was taken aback by the declaration. It was a rare sight to see the reigning monarch to abdicate the throne for someone else. "But he is a rogue," one of the guests voiced out. The comment was biting but she kept her calm. "It is nowhere written that a rogue can't be a King and also we have figured a way to accept him back into the pack so it shouldn't be a problem," Sienna explained. "We will discuss more about it during the next pack meeting. For now, please, enjoy your time here and have a hearty meal," Sienna added with her regal smile. With that said, the spotlight was taken off her and the light flooded back in the room. Azriel stormed off without saying a word. Sienna watched his retreating back with sad eyes. She had upset him. She hoped he would understand her. She was doing it for him, for them. She blinked away from him and lay he
"Ma'am, you are looking stunning," the woman complimented Sienna. Sienna thanked her make-up artist with a smile before giving a once over to her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a red color offshoulder gown. Her eyes turned wide a fraction in amazement. She had never looked this gorgeous. "Wow...you are a magician," Sienna admired the woman, impressed. The woman chuckled. "Why thank you, ma'am. But truth be told I've done nothing. The sparkle in your eyes and the glow on your face has made all the difference," the woman replied honestly. Sienna couldn't deny this fact. She was glowing from within since Azriel's return. She was happy in a real sense and the news that Azriel had broken to her yesterday had only added to her glow. She was living the best of her life. She was pregnant. Azriel was sniffing her like a dog when she had woken up yesterday morning. His eyes were full of joy when he told her the news. Sienna took a momentto process but when she did she was on the
A week flew by in a wink. How? she wouldn't know. It was already time to go back home. She still had not sobered up from all the love Azriel was drugging her with. Oh, that's what his love was. A drug. "Ready?" Azriel skipped down the stairs carrying a bag. Sienna spun to look at him and shook her head. Azriel smiled and walked up to her."We will come back here very soon," he kissed her forehead and promised her. Her eyes lit up. "Promise?" she innocently blinked her long lashes at him. They were lighter than feathers but the power they hold was terrifying. Those black wings had made his poor heart skip its beat several times. Deadly, right? "Promise," he whispered smilingly. The duo set out on their journey back to the castle. The holiday had helped heal the wounds that even the time couldn't. They needed each other more than the time. Reagon ran into his mom's arms the moment she climbed down the stairs.Sienna grinned widely and lifted her baby in her arms. "I missed you, mo
