Chapter 4: So Pitiful

Pei Yu felt uncomfortable during the meal. Every time he glanced at the woman, his breathing would stagnate uncontrollably.

She really grew on every bit of him.

On the other hand, Jiang Wan ate calmly, as if nothing had happened.

Even on the way back, the speed once exceeded 100 miles per hour.

"Pei Yu, do you want to die?"

Jiang Wan looked up at the man next to her with amusement, and the man tugged at his tie.

"I want you!"

As soon as the car stopped, her body suddenly became airborne. The man picked her up horizontally, holding her hips with both hands, opened the door, went straight in and put her on the dining table.

The kisses spread from behind the ears to the chest, and Jiang Wan could even feel the man's uncontrollable breathing.

The man's kiss was heavy and passionate.

She stretched out her hand and hooked it around Pei Yu's neck, responding softly.

It was this response that made the other party even more crazy.

The two of them kept moving from the sofa beside the table.

Pei Yu tore at his tie, kissed her lower lip, and his big hands wandered around Jiang Wan's waist.

Jiang Wan suddenly pushed him gently , " I'm going to take a shower."

Pei Yu couldn't suppress the lust in his eyes any longer. He didn't stop , " No, you smell good."

Jiang Wan pushed him away with all her strength, winked at the man seductively, then turned around and went upstairs.

Pei Yu was in a good mood. He opened a bottle of red wine and waited for ten minutes. Suddenly, he heard the sound of the door upstairs being locked.

He stood up, strode over, and knocked on the door with a slight frown on his face , " Wife ... " It sounded so pitiful.

"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep first."

Jiang Wan's eyes inside the door suddenly turned cold, and she took off her earrings with a look of disdain.

"Jiang! Wan! You're playing tricks on me!"

Pei Yu slammed the door with his big hands, biting out every word through his teeth.

Jiang Wan responded with a smile , " Boss Pei, I'm just taking a small revenge. I heard that you spent 200 million to buy a necklace. This necklace is our common property. I hope Boss Pei can transfer it to me."

Pei Yu was stunned for a moment. He had known for a long time that the necklace belonged to her mother and he wanted it, but she found the excuse of joint property and she still wanted to make him angry!

"Boss Pei, you'd better think it over carefully. It won't sound good if you spend 200 million on your lover. I'm going to sleep first."

Jiang Wan got into the quilt neatly, leaving Pei Yu standing outside, confused.

He turned and went to the living room to make a phone call.

"Where's the necklace I asked you to take a picture of?"

The assistant on the phone was stunned for a moment, and replied , " It was taken away by Miss Jiang. Wasn't this necklace given to Miss Jiang Yin?"

Pei Yu's eyes were filled with anger and annoyance , " When did I ever say that this necklace was for her?!"

The assistant was speechless, not knowing how to explain , " Sorry, Mr. Pei, I thought ... "

"Give me the necklace back!"

Pei Yu interrupted him coldly, his tone was sarcastic , " Does she deserve something worth 200 million?"

Jiang Wan went out early the next morning.

Then he disappeared and didn't come home for several days.

Pei Yu saw Jiang Wan again at Jiang Zezhong's birthday party.

She had not planned to come back, but her mother's necklace was here and it had to be returned to its owner.

I could hear the flattery from the people inside before I even entered the door.

"Yinyin, no wonder everyone in the circle says that you and Mr. Pei are the real golden couple. Mr. Pei gave you such an expensive thing without blinking an eye."

"People have already said that Jiang Wan has not been well-received in the Pei family over the years. Didn't you see that President Pei is on the hot search list all day long? It's because the one he married is not the one he truly loves!"

"Need I say this? If it weren't for Mr. Pei's interference, our Yinyin and Pei Yu would have died!"

Su Jinghao held Jiang Yin's hand and accepted all the flattery with a doting look on her face.

"I'm late."

When Jiang Wan appeared in a light green cheongsam holding her assistant's hand, everyone looked over.

When Jiang Zezhong saw Jiang Wan appear, he walked up to her with a smile on his face and looked closely behind her.

"Wanwan, did you come here by yourself?"

Jiang Wan dodged to the side without changing her expression, hoping that the other party would come forward and hold her hand.

Jiang Zezhong's hand stopped in mid-air, and he was embarrassed for a moment.

"Oh, isn't this Madam Pei? Who invited you here? I thought you were going to break off relations with your father?"

Stepmother Su Jinghao immediately stepped forward and yelled in a sarcastic tone. She never took Jiang Wan seriously.

Jiang Yin, who was standing by, sneered and looked at her with disdain.

"Jinghao! Now that Wanwan is here, we are a family. Don't forget that our company still has something to ask President Pei."

Jiang Zezhong lowered his voice to stop Su Jinghao's sarcastic tone. Even though his voice was very low, Jiang Wan at the side could hear it clearly.

Her biological father is ridiculous.

Over the years, I have been trying hard to create the image of a good father in front of outsiders.

But no matter how hard he disguises himself, he cannot cover up the truth that he took away his mother's shares, drove his original wife crazy, and abandoned his wife and children!

She glanced coldly at the group of people in front of her, sat down on the sofa next to her as if they were blind, and waved to the nanny to pour tea.

Su Jinghao was completely ignited by her action.

"Jiang Wan! Whose house are you going to show off? Are you as crazy as your mother? Are you coming to me to bully others?"

Jiang Wan touched his ear, met Su Jinghao's eyes, and said calmly , " I came here today to take back my mother's things."

Jiang Zezhong stood aside and shuddered all over.

“The necklace.”

Without waiting for them to speak, Jiang Wan glanced at Jiang Yin, who was standing next to her in a black dress and staring at her. The jewel necklace on her neck was so dazzling.

Jiang Wan's eyes darkened.

"Sister, this was given to me by President Pei. No matter how jealous you are, you can't make up stories here."

Jiang Yin seemed to have heard a joke and burst out laughing.

Jiang Wan stood up slowly and calmly, staring at Jiang Yin , " Back then, Jiang Zezhong took my mother's property and came to you. He sold these things to increase his own value, so they were lost overseas. The words engraved on the back of the gems are proof of this."

Every word she said hit Jiang Zezhong, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

Jiang Yin picked up the back of the necklace in disbelief, and there was indeed a word "Xu" engraved on it.

Hearing this, the people below started talking about it.

Jiang Yin also looked at his guilty father.

"Don't make up lies here, Jiang Wan! Get out of here right now. Even if it's really your mother's thing, so what? Pei Yu spent 200 million to buy this necklace for my daughter. It was a voluntary gift!"

Su Jinghao stood in front of her and shouted, with a confused look on her face. If there were no outsiders, she would have asked someone to kick Jiang Wan out long ago.

"Who said I gave it to her?!"

As a deep and magnetic voice was heard, everyone looked over.
