My Contract Boyfriend

"Jaaaaaadeeee... You're gonna be late for your first day of work" Valerie whined while trying to convince me to get out of bed while I was busy making up my mind to give up my Job because I wasn't ready to face the world or anyone in particular. It's bad enough I had to deal with having Valerie through out yesterday till this morning because she refused to leave my side after learning of my lying, cheating jerk of an ex boyfriend after I came crying home yesterday."I'm not going" I replied stubbornly and turned away from her."Are you drunk?" Came her usual question she always asked whenever I say something insane like I just said. But she doesn't understand does she? Rowan is my first love! I loved him so much that I almost don't believe what has happened even though I saw it with my very own eyes and that doesn't keep the images from flooding through my head every minute.Disgusting. And painful."I wish. But you didn't let me have even a single bottle" I pointed out dryly in respo

Adrian's P.O.VAs unbelievable as it may seem, last night most definitely has to be the night I most fell alive and most strangely was the fact that it all happened with a girl who I barely know nothing about. Not even her name! After our very steamy session, with heavy panting and her bare body locked up in my arms she drifted off to sleep and so did I up until I peeled my eyes open few seconds ago to the fragrance of her rose scented hair passing through my nostrils.I didn't need to check the time nor look out the window to confirm it was already morning because the bright sunlight seeping in the room was enough proof of that and it shouldn't have felt this strange but it did.Waking up to a woman in my arms has never happened with me in all my days. Not because I haven't been with women before but because I never felt this at peace to bring myself to sleep like it happened this morning.Whenever I closed my eyes at night, I was taken back. Taken all the way back to the trauma's o

Adrian's POVAfter the embarrassing moment I experienced a little while ago, I was sure I would not be letting myself think about her anymore. Even though I happened to have had the best night of my life with this strange woman, being thrown out like some street rat was the height of it.Anyways I brushed the thought off my head as I walked into my suite. Jay had already made himself comfortable in it as he had ordered himself a feast for breakfast. He was munching on his omelette when I walked in on him and immediately his eyes fell on me, he took a quick sip of his cup of tea and swallowed hard."Hey man, where the heck have you been? You went AWOL on me last night and you barely said anything over the phone when I called."I flashed him a cold stare. The wound from this morning was not completely healed but it doesn't sting as much as before.I noticed his unbothered look. His entire being was centred on his breakfast. He would usually notice the littlest things about me, down to a

Adrian's POVI hadn't seen anyone look as amazing as she did in her purple outfit. The color had never looked better on anyone else either. Her transulent skin glowed under the skin of her dress and her hair pulled up in a ruffled ponytail gave her facial features a whole new look.I stood afar off, watching her sway her hips gloriously from side to side as she walked towards a table, her bare back begging to be touched. Damn! How could someone look so effortlessly beautiful the way she does. The strands of hair that played gayly on her face and the way she peeled them off behind her ears, her crimson red lips that gave a pop of colour to her skin tone, all fascinated me so much, I could feel my mouth water."Hello, Adrian. Are you with me?" I heard the lady with me ask.She wasn't my date or anything of that sort. In her words, 'I had seen you walk in and felt it would be nice to get to know you better.'And of course, being the gentleman that I was, I couldn't turn down such a pre

Adrian's POVI had hoped my flight back home would be a quick one as I had other engagements waiting for me by the time I return but the universe had other plans for me that day.I arrived at the airport early for my flight, only to be told that it had been delayed due to a terrible weather and all that nonsense. My plans were ruined and as angry as I was about the sudden turn of events, there was nothing much I could do about it.I immediately booked a motel since all the hotels were far out in town and I couldn't afford going back to the resort due to the distance.Thankfully, I was lucky enough to get the last available room. Plus the distance between the motel and the airport was incredibly convenient for me.I didn't hesitate to head down to it and get settled in. I was about to order for my breakfast when I received a phone call that had me bolting out of the room immediately.Jay had been involved in a car accident on his way back from running an errand I had sent him on and wa
