Just like in business, Melody delivered. Her playful nature was temptation itself. It was all he could do to contain his desire to sink into her for hours. He could smell her scent of her desire over her perfume.

Like him, she felt the need to shed her business shell and open herself fully to their experience. They didn’t need to talk about this being only for now. When they agreed on it, she made it clear in the coffee shop. She was steaming hot with her purple bra and bare feet. She was so horny that when she walked her hips gave him come hither vibes and he’d follow them. In the cottage again, she kissed her, drink in her pliant curves and eager kisses.

They made it into the bedroom, and she excused herself so she could use the bathroom. Now he stripped down to only his pants. Clothing was too restrictive. Gods, he so rarely of this worked up over a woman. But for him, he was riding the high.

Melody was scrambling in the bathroom. She could feel her foxish nature surfacing, and that worried her. So she took another scent blocking pill. Gods, please don’t let him notice. She only needed to get to Monday morning without him discovering her shifter nature and beast. Beast, what a bad word for her perky and excitable delicate fox. She knew she didn’t run, nope; she flitted from place to place. Too cute to be scary. It annoyed her because no one took her seriously.

She brushed her hair and fixed her makeup. Praying the pill would kick in before she left the bathroom. Looking in the mirror, Melody questioned her sanity. Now, with her shirt gone and her shoes, Melody looked at herself in the mirror. Her passion showed on her thighs in the bathroom lighting. That she would leave, her pheromones would heighten his experience, her nipples thrust hard through the lace of her lavender bra. Her hair curled in dark reddish curls past her shoulders and framed her breasts. With a quick spray of her perfume, she left the bathroom after pasting a come-hither smile on her face. She wouldn’t feel guilty about this. It was her choice, and she wanted memories of enjoying at least some of her life.

“I’m glad you waited. I hope you won’t be disappointed.” She walked toward the most godlike looking man she’d ever seen, and he was hers for the weekend.

Malcolm stood framed by the darkening sky like some god of wrath overseeing his domain. He’d run his hand through his perfect hair, and it only made him look more ruggedly dangerous. Melody wanted to eat him up.

“I can wait for perfection. You’re beautiful. Come here.” He sat on the end of the bed, took her hand, and guided her between his thighs. “It’s time. I want to see the entire package.” With that said, his arms wrapped around her waist. Malcolm’s lips and tongue tasted her soft flesh. She gasped as he slid her skirt zipper down and she felt her skirt fall and hit the ground. She stepped gracefully from it and kicked it aside.

As she did, Malcolm removed his pants, and they made a pile on top of her skirt.

He drank in the sight of her. Those lush breasts of hers weren’t purchased, they were proudly bursting their confines of that purple bra. Purple was his new favourite colour. Against her darker skin, it framed and accented those firm globes.

Malcolm felt his desire race through him like an electric shock. He was so hard it almost hurt. She slowly opened the front clasp of her bra and then they were free of him. Only him. The wave of possessively surprised him. Gods, this was a new feeling, but he would tuck it away to examine it later. Right now, he was about to feast for a second time tonight. This time, he’d satisfy the hungry wolf and his need to procreate.

This time, when he embraced her to him, his thighs made space between hers, forcing her to straddle his raging shaft as he buried his face between her breasts. Feasting on her scent and silky flesh. His hands splayed over her curvaceous hips, angling her exposed core to him. Her weeping depths begged him to thrust deeply into her. But he would not rush this encounter. The more build up, the bigger the explosion, and he’d shatter her. She’d want no one else after this.

That thought gave him pause. He’d never wanted to do that to a previous lover. The urge was never there before. So, he packed it away with the other renegade thoughts. It might just be the wine.

He held her in place when he explored her thighs. When she moaned, he moved her to the bed and laid her on her back, splayed out for his continued exploration.

“You’re a hot little thing, aren’t you? Well, that will benefit us both.”

“You don’t know the half of it.” Melody found his shaft and her hand fit him like a glove. She knew how to tease him with her body. Her lips never came near his shaft, but her touch drew his desire higher, and he panted breathlessly, careful not to find his completion. “Enough of that, honey. It’s my turn.”

Two could play these games. Malcolm moved one of her feet from the floor, parting her thighs wide for him. Even there, she was perfect. Built for action and pleasure. He watched her carefully as he explored her thighs and core. Gods, she was a blessing, so responsive. Arching to his hands, her scent intoxicating him as he played her body like an instrument. She was gorgeous in her need. There was no hiding the fact that she truly felt it all. Gods, he wanted her.

Melody was riding the roller coaster of her desire. This was a new high for her and she didn’t want it to end. Gods, please let this go on again and again. “Malcolm, please. Please, I need you. Take me.”

Malcolm grabbed an open condom pack from where he placed to on the nightstand. With it on, he returned to Melody and settled into her. Even with the condom, he’d never fit like this.

Then the genuine pleasure began. Malcolm drove into her with powerful thrusts. He couldn’t go faster because his thighs shook with intense pleasure, shooting through his nervous system. This so rarely happened that Malcolm didn’t want to waste it. He struggled not to howl. Never had he achieved this state so quickly. He felt like a match flaring to life and burning brightly. Gods, so perfect. He wanted more. Shifting their position so he could sink further into her. He watched her eyes as she lost her control, a silent scream on her lips as his crashed down on hers. He worked his way through her orgasm. Gods, he felt every second as it elitist his completion from him. They finally settled on the bed. That’s when he realized this had been more. He’d knotted inside her. That the heavens human women didn’t know what it was. He’d just stay inside her for a few minutes.

Melody lay panting. He was still inside her. Thank the gods for condoms. She could feel he’d knotted inside her. His brain might register her as a human, but his body knew. She could feel the aftershocks of his completion. It felt like hot and so deep it trigger her orgasm to go longer than normal.

     “The was…”

“Amazing… And just the beginning of our weekend.” Malcolm promised. He had to have another go at her. She was too good to be true.

Eventually, he left her dozing quietly in bed. In the bathroom light, he was surprised to find the condom had torn. He wasn’t worried humans rarely got pregnant with shifter pups when they weren’t mates. He’d only have to worry if he was with another shifter. Melody was human. It should be good.

So, why was he freaking celebrating at the back of his mind that she might be pregnant soon? His mind was betraying him and his life’s rules. Melody already had an entire weekend. Perhaps he could get her out of his system by then?

Now for round two of fun and games bedroom style.

He was the size of a beast. When he first drove into her, she could feel him fill her so completely that she lost herself to the experience. So ready for him. He glided in and out of her with slow, even building thrusts. Even when he lost it and came, she responded to the core deep fiery bursts of his completion. Her own extended with each rush of heat. Now that heat settled in her belly and kept her mellow. She wanted to purr like her fox. But she resisted. She dozed through the fuzzy pleasurable high he left her with. When she woke, he was returning to bed with a couple of glasses of red wine. “I’m surprised you don’t have any hunting trophies on display.” Malcolm made a face. “I make enough conquest at work. I don’t need to be watched by things I kill. It always seemed gory and wrong to hunt for sport.” Melody studied Malcolm’s face for a moment. A wolf not lost in the hunt. This was new and different. But to protect her secret, she said nothing more. “I’d rather hunt

Malcolm would not let her leave the bed. He brought everything to them that night. Never in his life did he have to resist doing something. But he felt it was too soon. Malcolm didn’t want to scare Melody by restraining her too soon. Now he felt the weekend wouldn’t be long enough to explore everything and get her out of his system. This was their first night together and he could keep himself out of her tight core. Just the thought of driving into her again only amplified his urge, seeing if he could knot inside her again. She wouldn’t forget this weekend until the day she died. He’d make sure of it, because he didn’t want to be the only one remembering it. Malcom pulled her onto the bed, and he sat against the headboard. She watched him, eager to follow his instructions. “Straddle my lap, but not close enough for you to take my shaft inside you. See? Melody used the bathroom after Malcolm returned. When she returned, he was asleep. She drank her wine as she watched the night through the wall of windows. Gods, if there were eyes out there looking back, they must have a great show. She couldn’t help but touch her bare flesh, remembering what his touch felt like and how it made her feel. She feared that she’d want to get used to being with him. But even if she stayed, they’d agreed it would end Monday. When they left this place. Her heart wept at that because she couldn’t harden it now. The fun and games were too real right now. She had to remind herself that this was for the best. That she couldn’t maintain this. Right now, she was all too aware of the surrounding scents. The scent of their mingle passion lit up the room. Even after a shower, she could smell him on her body. It did things to her that made her knees go weak. Now she’d climb into bed beside him and attempt to sleep. When she slipped naked into bed with Ma

That aggressive nature found its way into a heated encounter there on the shore, with him taking her like the animal he knew he was. It was all he could do to not lose himself and bite her. The urge was stronger than ever before, and it scared the crap out of him. This he had to unpack before he went too far. “What time is it?” He’d knotted inside her again and she tried desperately not to say she knew what that meant. Melody prayed her birth control would work because him taking her like this was bliss incarnate. “Four thirty-four. Why?” She couldn’t tell him. Gods, she should have taken a scent blocker half an hour ago. “It’s nothing. I’ll be back in a moment.” She grabbed her daypack and moved into the tree line. Crap, she was screwed if he scented her fox and with all the sex, she was sure her fox would fly her colours from here to North Bay if it weren’t for the pills. She popped another pill and tried to hang out while it took effect. This was a mess she cou

Melody returned to the sleeping Malcolm, saddened knowing that she’d have to leave. She climb back into bed with him and lay there until morning came. In the bathroom, she got ready for the day. Packed her things and tucked them back into her overnight bag. Melody found Malcolm in by the fire. It was raining outside. She stood at the windows, watching it for a long while. Her mind trying to go over where she could have lost the scent blockers. Gods, she felt like a fool. She couldn’t ask Malcolm for help to look for them. He’d ask her what they were for and, as a wolf, he’d know if she lied. Melody wandered the main room where she’d left the daypack, hoping against hope she’d find the bottle in a corner or some hidden place. But she had to be subtle about it. So she pretended to look at artwork and organize the already clean room. “Everything alright Melody?” “Just restless, I guess. Maybe it’s the rain.” “Hmm…” Melody knew that sound. He didn’t buy it.

Malcolm awoke alone. He stretched and found the place beside him was cold. Sitting up, he went still, trying to locate the sound of her moving around. But everything was silent. Worried something may have happened to her, Malcolm searched the building. Nothing. She wasn’t inside the house. He started looking outside and stopped dead in his tracks. Her car was gone, her bag too. She left without a goodbye. He checked again for a note, nothing. Malcolm stood there stunned, in disbelief. No goodbye, no reason for leaving early. He tried to call her phone, and she didn’t pick it up any time he called. Finally, he called Jordan and told him what had happened. Jordan told him she’d probably explain on Tuesday when she saw him. That maybe she had a family emergency and reminded him about the cute Ellie. She’d not wanted to talk about it. Perhaps that was the case. He still wanted to change the rule of their agreement. Now it would have to wait. He cleaned up the

Malcolm paced the cottage’s spacious living room, searching the late afternoon outside the window. He kept expecting her to drive up and come in with some surprise, but she hadn’t. All they could find was a security video of her leaving their territory. She’d been alone in the vehicle, at least. But she didn’t say anything about leaving. Had he done something wrong? He knew nothing really about her family. Could she have had a family emergency? Why wasn’t she answering her phone? He was useless at finding her, because he kept following her scent back to the bedroom they shared. Jordan called and informed him that her apartment was the wrong address, or she’d moved out. The investigation took weeks, and by then they’d moved into the packhouse. Life slowly got back to normal. The pack warmed up to Melody and Ellie. When they realized they were the minds behind their products. The she-wolves embraced them readily. Malcolm and Jordan split their time between the city and the Muskoka territory. Even the various construction projects were progressing well, with no more interference. The Fae were nowhere to be seen. But there were new rogues in the shadows of the neutral zones, and they weren’t living there quietly. The council of alphas were making plans to deal with them along with an ever pending war between the Toronto packs, the Scarborough Grove, and the Don Valley. It was something that cropped up again and again. They had history and family conflict. No one could blame them for the father they had. Now there’s a girl driving a wedge between them again, with her mere existence. Ellie was concerned about Jordan. He’d have to come to terms wi

“When I stepped into leadership of this pack, I made it clear we wouldn’t hold on to old prejudices. This might not be a message that got to some of the most recent pack members. This is a historic time and events have been fast and furious. So, I will state this again without naming names or telling tales out of school, as the humans say.” He paused and looked about. Several uneasy people were now relaxed. “That’s not to say those people will avoid the appropriate punishments later. Now, we are a wolf pack who recognizes fate can grant us mates who aren’t wolves. We don’t punish a person for their species, race, lack of magic, or anything like that. If you have a problem with another, you seek to resolve it without harming each other. Yes, I know for some that is a tough thing to do. But we do that within this pack. I have heard that someone has used their station and position of responsibility to force their political beliefs onto the pack as a whole. The reports I rece

“Now you’re sure we have everything. I’d hate to get there and find out we’re missing something.” Melody was checking her bags again. Malcolm could see her anxiety in her actions. Normally, she would never reveal it. Now he figured it was her motherly instincts kicking in to protect and care for her pups. “Melody, there will be other families there. I’m sure if you’ve forgotten something, someone will have it.” If looks could kill, Malcolm would need a healer, at least if not an undertaker, as the humans would say. Melody didn’t appreciate his assurances. As Jordan passed him with another car seat. They had to install three of them and that was the last. Jordan made eye contact with Malcolm, and they exchanged a sense of commiseration. Malcolm figured it was because Jordan just escaped a similar situation upstairs. “Ellie, let me get the base in the car and then I’ll come get the pups for you. I don’t want you to carry two of those heavy car seats. Just

Malcolm didn’t stay long after that at the meeting. The elders clearly had a lot to chew on and get straight. He’d gone on to remind them their job wasn’t to run the pack or tell people what and how to do things. They weren’t to threaten the pack members if they said or did anything. Their job was to advise and give council. Use their experience and list, assist in finding answers. Guide the next generation. Someone had lost their way and Malcolm would keep an eye on them. So this wouldn’t happen again. They were getting ready to settle down for the rest of the evening when the elders appeared at their door. This time they requested if we could introduce them to the new pack members. A far cry from the morning. Malcolm noticed the speaker wasn’t there, but Cathleen was. “I’m sorry about all of this, Alpha. I truly didn’t believe it. Gisselle was sent by the others. However, I spoke with her about how unreasonable the horrible words were. She agreed with me. I just ask that you

Malcolm was unhappy when he entered the elder’s meeting room to hear this information. What were they thinking, pulling this? Running on rumours and speculation. That wasn’t how he or how he expected his pack to run. Malcolm waiting rather impatiently for a response that didn’t appear to come fast enough for his liking. “Tight lipped, are we? Anyone else like to step up to the speaker’s spot and inform me of exactly what my mate, they accused your Luna of what and by whom?” “I can’t tell you who reported this to us, but I would love to fill you in on this. It’s rather disgraceful, over-the-top, and factually unbelievable.” Cathleen stood up from her seat, a look of sour disapproval on her face. “To make matters worse, they kept me out of the loop on the births that happened at the cottage. This, I gather, was to ensure that I didn’t spill the beans about what they were doing.” “Madam, if you’d please state the accusations that they forced m

Gisselle found herself basically being escorted to the elders. She was sure they weren’t pleased with her right now after the subtle stance she took. Now she’s having to tell them their information about the Luna was full of misleading or outright false information. That wouldn’t go down well either. She entered the building that the elders used for their private meeting. Cathleen was there this time. She’d been missing when the elders stopped in to see the Luna and recognize the pups. “I hear they left me out of the loop in being told the pup was born early this morning.” Cathleen cornered Gisselle about this as soon as she got there. “For that, I’m sorry. I left a message with someone, and they were supposed to contact everyone. When Malcolm woke up, his phone was inundated with messages, wanting to know about everything. From where was he, to be everyone alright, even a few inquiries about complaints from a couple of elders about him throwing tradition to the wind? Business seemed to be well contained, with only a few reassurances that he takes his time, and it would be managed for him. That meant he would need to deal with several things here at home, make several decisions, and find his footing in this new dynamic. If someone told him he’d be mated and a father of two right now, three years ago, he’d have laughed at them and asked them what they were smoking. Now he had one almost running. They needed to get some safety items set up in the cottage. Malcolm was there to catch David this time before he fell down the stairs. No one told him pups moved that fast. Now there were four! Malcolm was more than annoyed with the elders. This was his family and his pack. That meant his word was law and what they did was overstep their place. He didn’t have to listen to their advice, and that’s all their words should be. A voice of experience or a different perspective. They shouldn’t be demanding anything. “What is going on out there?” “Insensitive, self-important ninnies every one of them. The elders were downstairs. They expected you to give birth and then get up and walk down to them so we can present the boys to them officially.” “Is that what it was?” Melody sighed and kissed David’s head as he cuddled. He was still trying to wake up after being woken up several times during the night. “I would have thought you’d want to get it over with.” “We don’t have a name for this little one. Three hours after returning to the cottage, Malcolm saw his pup come into the world. It wasn’t at all what he’d expected and if they had any more, he’d gladly wait elsewhere. Gisselle believed the little male would be another pup. So, Malcolm finally made a list of the information he needed to add to the pack’s registry. He couldn’t believe that he’d not added Melody or David to the registry. They’d added Ellie along with the twins. He hoped that’s why no one was respecting them before this. Once things quieted down, it was late enough in the morning for the elders to make their appearance and demands clear. They wanted to be introduced to both pups and do it all official. Malcolm was more than annoyed by this. They expected to be catered to without thought to Melody’s health or anyone else. Why did it even have to be today at all? “Alpha, could you let me handle this as the Luna’s healer? It’s my duty to ensure she recovers. I know you haven’t said anyth
