"You still care about him, don't you? " I whispered, there was a flicker in his gaze but he didn't look away.
"I don't want him to die." He murmured under his breath.
I nodded in understanding, clasping his hand tightly in mine."He won't, there's still so many things to settle between the two of you, your dad won't die so easily " I smiled shakily, his gaze was clouded with doubt, I could tell he wanted to believe my words so badly, I wished I could say more to convince him, if not for anything, but to remove the worry and the hint of sadness in his beautiful eyes.
We stood in comfortable silence, my gaze scanned around us when I suddenly realized how much time the both of us has spent alone in this place, the others were probably done with their task by now while we have both been here discussing.
