I stepped out of my bathroom and made my way to my closet, my hand roamed through my closet until it settled on my pink net nightie, it was 9 p.m. and I had finished my dinner.

I slipped into my nightgown, applied my skincare, and picked up my phone to call Gabriel back, I had missed his call.

"Hello angel," his masculine voice reverberated over the phone, soothing my mind. I let out a silent sigh as I leaned my back against my study table.

"Hi, how are you?" I asked him.

"I am fine, I called you earlier, and you did not take my calls, why?"

"I was busy sorry about that, I had gone to see my late best friend's Mum, I spent time with her, we went out for a little date, and I came back and decided to make dinner,"

"That's fine, I missed your voice, so what are you doing now?"

"I just finished taking my shower, how about you?"
