I was seated in Logan's bedroom, my fingers scrolling through her phone, the door swung open, and I looked up to see Logan entering.

"What's up, man? I thought you were supposed to come back in two days?" Logan asked.

"I kind of rounded up early, meanwhile, who is she?" Logan walked towards his closet, ignoring my question.

"Did I speak a language you don't suddenly understand?" I leaned against the bed headboard, staring at him.

"Ava's colleague, she invited her to dinner," Logan said as he searched through his closet.

"It did not seem like it when I walked in, it was as if you were the one who invited her over instead." I stood up and walked towards him, my hands slipping into my pockets, "Where to?" I asked.

"I will be right back, Gabriel. Stop asking such stupid questions. If you are hungry, have Ava get you some food." He slung his jeans jacket over his shoulder and grabbed his car key as he walked towards the door.
