Lance's POV

We all sat round Grandma Gina's table waiting for her to start talking. Maureen had been so confused with Grandma Gina's action that she burst into tears.

My wolf immediately swung into action. He pulled her away from Grandma Gina to hold her to our chest. She held on to my shirt as she cried. I was sure she was ruining the sky blue shirt but I didn't care.

'Grandma what are you doing?' Dominus had asked his grandma pulling her up.

'My eyes have seen the chosen one Dominus. It is she, I am very sure. Do you know how many years I have waited for this day?' His grandma insisted.

'Yes grandma. I know you have waited for years but still we need to be careful. Anyone can hear you outside here. Let's go inside then you can see her to your heart content.'

The old woman had grudgingly agreed to stand up. She smiled at us and said, 'The team is almost complete.' Whatever that meant we didn't know.

We entered the spacious cottage and I was surprised to see that nothing was amiss

I’m fairly certain the chapter before this one is from the wrong book and we are actually missing the proper previous chapter to this book because things are very clearly missing between the chapters. Can you PLEASE fix this issue!?

    Maureen's POVI didn't sleep the rest of the night neither did Lance. I didn't want to sleep and dream about the scene I saw again. I had never witnessed war. The feelings was so raw and real. Although she laughed it off each time but we made her do the stop and walk around so that her legs would not become painful when we eventually got home.     Maureen's POVI couldn't sleep that night. Wondering about what Grandma Gina had said. I wondered if the knife was still out there waiting for the right time to be used to kill me. I glanced at Lance, he was in deep sleep. I couldn't blame him sleeping. He must be very tired. He had not had a good sleep in days.     Maureen's PovI walked into the sitting room hand in hand with Lance. Mum looked at our joined hands and frowned but she didn't say anything. We greeted them and sat down.
