Alexis's POV

I woke up and my head hurt a lot. It was pounding as I slowly recovered consciousness, I felt a slight and small ache at my forehead behind my eyes making it hard for me to focus. I blinked several times, trying to focus and clear my vision. Finally, my eyes were clear and I could see my surroundings. The room was dark, and the ceilings were high.
