Danny quickly walked into the courtyard.

Woody Lambert stopped panting after he heard his son's voice.

"Did you investigate the matter thoroughly?" Woody asked through clenched jaws.

For his family, not having an heir was a catastrophe.

"I did. It was exactly as Nathan said."

Danny nodded.

"Frederick! Frederick! Frederick!"

Woody's eyes turned red, and he repeatedly chanted Frederick's name. By the end, he was nearly shouting.

"Dad, don't get too worked up! You'll hurt yourself!"

Danny's eyes filled with tears. He quickly stepped forward to rub Woody's back.

"He's gone too far. Even if that woman was his girlfriend, Matty didn't even touch her! How could he be so cruel?" Woody uttered in a trembling voice.

The thought of possibly losing his grandson made his heart ache.

"Dad, don't worry. I won't let him off the hook!" Danny exclaimed angrily. "How is Matty doing now?"
