Jasmine giggled. "Maybe you've been doing that too much?"

Frederick shot her a glance. "Nonsense! I’m strong! Want me to prove it to you?"

Jasmine blushed. "Cut it out!"

"But seriously, are you planning to go to the banquet? You even sent Jen ahead to Mirage City because of it."

Frederick shook his head. "The moment I'm out of touch, all those troublemakers start stirring things up. If I leave Centropolis again, who knows what they'll do next!"

He was determined to take care of these nuisances for Jasmine before he left.

"But are you sure you want to go, just the two of us, without any bodyguards? At least bring my bodyguards," Jasmine said. She was worried.
