Frederick tossed the notes into the trash can without a second thought.

Jasmine said teasingly from behind him, “You threw them away so decisively? You wouldn’t be picking it up again as soon as I leave, would you?”

Frederick shrugged. “You’ve reminded me of something.”

He turned around, retrieved the item from the trash can, and handed it to Carol. “Based on the names listed, either conduct interviews or terminate their employment according to the HR department’s guidelines.”

Carol nodded vigorously. “Understood, sir.”

She promptly turned around and left.

Jasmine was taken aback and exclaimed, “You’re really ruthless… How many people have you fired today?”

She couldn’t help but feel a bit inferior to Frederick’s iron-fisted methods.

Frederick replied nonchalantly, “As the saying goes, ‘Treat not the already sick but the unwell before they become ill.’ If we don’t remove these tumors now, they will eventually become festering problems.”
