"He's gone!"

The shock was like a bolt from the blue, leaving everyone unsettled. Their hearts raced in fear.

"Impossible! Sheldon could never have escaped on his own!"

"There must be someone else involved! Who did this? Who was responsible?"

Before anyone could answer, a mocking voice drifted down from above.

"Of course, it was me."

Frederick emerged from a corner, calm and composed, with a pleasant smile.

"Gentlemen, weren't we supposed to be discussing things at the farmhouse restaurant tonight? How did you end up here, and looking so disheveled, I might add?"

The nine representatives glared at him with fury.

"Frederick! You dare show yourself here?!"

It dawned on them then—they had been tricked once again. Frederick had never expected the desperate death row inmates to defeat them. The goal was simply to divert their attention and buy time.

"Sheldon's escape is of no consequence. He was just bait to catch a big fish—you! Now that you're here, he's no longer of any use!"
