CHAPTER 3: Scarlet Heart

No one’s POV:

Heart held Dimitri, closed her own eyes and screamed loudly raising her head up. “Dimitri! No! No!” She was screaming in pain and her body was vibrating with sobs. She then looked at him and held his face. Dimitri’s lips were so pale and his eyes were still opened. “Please wake up, Dimitri!” She was shouting in agony and continued to sob so hard. The ambulances and police arrived. The nurses took Dimitri, while Heart was following them. The nurses were carrying Dimitri through a stretcher and put him on the bed inside the ambulance. Heart followed and was watching them while the nurses were trying to revive him. Luckily, there was a doctor there and Dimitri’s condition became stable but Heart could not stop from worrying. 

When they arrived at the hospital, he was immediately brought in the operation room, Heart was crying non stop outside the door. She was so anxious and could not stay at ease. She kept on walking around and blaming herself from what happened. Heart then sat down on the bench and cried continuously. “This is my fault.” She mumbled and kept on blaming herself because of what happened to her boyfriend. She cried until there were no tears left to cry on.

After eight hours, the doctor went out of the operation room. Heart stood up from her seat and ran to him. “Doc, how is my boyfriend? Did he make it?” Heart asked while grabbing the doctor’s arms. She was shaking it because of her anxiousness. The doctor looked at her seriously. “He is still alive, but he is unconscious. He is in a coma.” The doctor stated. Heart stopped from grabbing his arm and she shook her head with her eyes fully widened. “No.” She murmured. She then looked at the doctor. “No, doc! Please wake him up! Please!” Heart begged and started sobbing again. The doctor shook his head. “We tried our best, we managed to make him alive but he fell into a coma. We don’t know when he will wake up, I am sorry.” The doctor apologized and left the scene.

Heart could not believe what she heard. Her body dropped on the floor and screamed so loudly. “Dimitri!”

After a few moments, the nurses were pushing Dimitri’s bed from the operation room to transfer him to another room. Heart stood up and she was walking like a zombie while following them. When Dimitri was settled in his new room, Heart sat down on the chair next to him and looked into his face. “Dimitri, I am so sorry. But, I promise, I will wait for you to wake up. I will never leave you. I love you, darling. Please wake up, okay?” She said with a sobbing voice. She held his hand and cried into it. 

A nurse entered the room after a few minutes and approached Heart. “Hi, excuse me, are you his guardian?” The nurse asked Heart. Heart then looked at her. “Yes, I am his guardian, I am his girlfriend.” Heart replied with her swollen eyes and nose. 

“Please follow me.” The nurse said. Heart stood up and then followed the nurse outside. She was brought to the reception and showed the hospital bill. “Here, please pay. But since your boyfriend is in a coma, the hospital bill won’t stop there.” The nurse explained. Heart’s eyes widened and she was so shocked when she saw the amount. “100,000 US dollars?!” She gasped. The nurse nodded and explained everything to her, it was because of the operation, etc. 

‘Why is this so expensive? I don’t have this amount of money!’ Heart thought and she felt so numb. She even sweated heavily and face was so pale. Heart took a deep breath. “Until when can I pay?” Heart asked.

“Within three days, if you don’t pay, we don’t have a choice to just let go of your boyfriend, I am so sorry but it is the rule of our hospital.” The nurse explained with a serious face. Heart gulped and pretended that she could pay so that her boyfriend could still be alive. “Oh, sure. I am just waiting for my salary. Hehe.” She awkwardly lied and then turned around. ‘Aish, where can I find such a big amount of money?’ She thought and then completely left the hospital.

She was walking like a zombie outside the hospital but suddenly, she remembered what Annie told her last time, about Georgia’s job, being a stripper. ‘Can I do that?’ Heart thought. She shook her head. “No, no. This is cheating!” She said to herself. But if she won’t do that, Dimitri will die and she won’t be able to pay the hospital bill and it will be under her debt. Heart stopped from walking and grabbed her hair. “Aish, I will try!” She shouted and looked for Georgia. 

Heart was in a taxi, sitting at the passenger seat at the back. She was busy looking for Georgia’s phone number. But luckily, it was on her contact details. She was about to press the call button but she hesitated at first. She shook her head and finally was able to press it. ‘Please answer the phone call.’ She thought and prayed that Georgia would answer her call.

After a few seconds, Georgia answered. Heart felt glad. “Georgia, can we meet? It is important. This is about being a stripper.” Heart went straight talking to Georgia as she did not want to beat around the bush. Georgia was on break when she answered Heart’s phone call. .She was so shocked because her job was not known by everyone. “What? How did you know?!” Georgia asked her and panicked. Heart felt so determined. 

“Where are you? Please recruit me! I badly need money, please Georgia!” Heart begged. Georgia was about to hang up the call but..

“If you won’t recruit me, I will tell your job to others!” Heart did not have the choice to blackmail her. Georgia scratched her head. “Okay, please don’t tell the others. I am going to text you the address and just look for me.” Georgia finally agreed to her. Heart felt relieved and just waited for her text message. Heart was still nervous about the job but she did not have the choice to do it. 

After a few minutes, Heart arrived at Georgia’s working place. It was a club, a high class bar. Heart was standing outside and looked at it. “Once I go in, there will be no way back.” Heart said to herself. She clenched her fists and entered the high class bar/club. When Heart entered, she saw a huge stage with sexy women, stripping, dancing sexily and performing in front of men. She then looked at the men who were sitting like an audience. They were mostly old men and adult business men. There were some young men but not much. 

Heart then asked a butler standing in the corner. She mentioned Georgia’s name and after a few minutes, the butler brought Georgia. Georgia then saw Heart and grabbed her hand, she dragged Heart into a dressing room.

It was quiet there and there were the only ones who were there. Georgia stood in front of Heart and assessed her body and face. She squinted and grabbed her face. “Um, you should wear contact lenses, put makeup on and remove this.” She said and then removed Heart’s hair bun, her black long hair was laid down. Georgia also removed Heart’s eyeglasses. “I can’t see without those.” She said. Georgia put her eye glasses down on the table and looked at her face. “That is why you need contact lenses. You can’t work here with those nerdy glasses of yours.” Georgia said and clicked her tongue. 

Georgia then looked at her body and outfit. “What an ugly outfit, why does it have bloods? Anyway, you must change everything. Come with me.” Georgia grabbed her and she chose an outfit for Heart.

After the preparation and make over, Heart turned into a gorgeous sexy lady. She ended up wearing sexy black lingerie. The make up covered her freckles and she was wearing brown contact lenses, her hair was laid down in wavy style. They were standing in the big mirror, Georgia was next to Heart. Heart was so stunned into herself by looking at her reflection in the mirror. “Is this really me?” She asked Georgia. “Yes, that is you. My name in this job is Gracia.” Georgia replied. 

Heart twisted her neck and looked at Gracia. “How about me? Can you give me a name?” Heart asked for a suggestion. Gracia then grabbed Heart’s shoulders from her behind and made her look again in the mirror. “You are now, Scarlet Heart. Welcome, Scarlet Heart.” Gracia said. Heart smiled and liked that name. “Yes, today, Scarlet Heart was born.” She said and grinned.

After three months, Scarlet Heart became so in demand. Being an in demand high paying stripper, they also offer special services, etc. Scarlet Heart became so cold and emotionless just to pay for her boyfriend’s hospital bills. She was also saving for their future. She was doing everything for her boyfriend and their relationship. But of course, no one knows this, only Georgia. 

One night, a young handsome heir, Cullen Lee, entered their bar, he then sat down in front as he was the most VIP person of that night. 

He went there along with other business men. He looked around and just sighed. ‘I don’t even know what I am doing here.’ He thought. But then he remembered the reason why he was there. ‘Yes, I am here because I need to feel alive again. Someone suggested and forced me to go here, but this is just so boring.’ Cullen thought.

Scarlet Heart was assigned to assist them. She bought them drinks and some chips. Everyone was looking at her because she was very gorgeous and sexy. Cullen, who was not interested in anything inside the bar, noticed Scarlet Heart. It was Cullen’s turn to be served his drink by Scarlet Heart. 

Scarlet Heart and Cullen’s eyes met as Scarlet was leaning close to Cullen’s table, serving his drinks. ‘Who is that person? This is the first time that someone like him has entered here. He is so handsome and hot!’ Scarlet thought while staring at his handsome face.

Cullen’s eyes widened and was still staring at Scarlet Heart’s face. He then immediately touched his chest as his heart was fluttering. He could even hear his loud heart beat. He was feeling so drawn towards her. Cullen was stunned because of her beauty and hotness. ‘Who is this woman? I want her to be mine. It must be love at first sight. You will be mine.’ Cullen thought while biting his lower lip. But then, Scarlet accidentally threw the glass of water in front of her and it went to Cullen’s shirt. 

“Oh!” Scarlet gasped and her eyes widened. She grabbed a tissue and wiped Cullen’s chest area as it was so wet because of what she accidentally did. Cullen then grabbed her hand and their eyes met again as Cullen’s gaze was melting her. “Stop, you don’t need to do this. It’s okay.” Cullen said and flashed an angelic smile.

‘Why is he staring at me like that? Am I attractive from his eyes? Well, no one says no to Scarlet Heart.’ Scarlet Heart smirked and then bowed at him. She then stood up straight and offered him more tissue to wipe himself. Cullen continued wiping himself but Scarlet was standing in front of him and it was making him more attracted to her.

'Damn this woman, she is making me feel so ecstatic. Ugh, I never thought that I would like attending this kind of place. She is so hot.' Cullen thought while watching Scarlet Heart standing in front of him.

Scarlet was really concerned about Cullen as her client. ‘Aish, I hope he will not get mad at me because of what I did.’ Scarlet thought.

After wiping his shirt. Cullen then looked at Scarlet from head to toe. ‘Her body is so perfect. Ungh, I am supposed to just sleep in this club literally because they forced me to go here but this woman is irresistible. Can I book this woman? I think I need her tonight..' Cullen thought while feeling so excited.

He then stood up and went to the information area. He showed his black credit card. "I want to book that woman." Cullen then pointed at Scarlet Heart. Their eyes met again and Cullen could not wait to be with Scarlet Heart.
