It was still very dark outside when we reached the gates of the Mikhailovsky castle. The clock on the dashboard of the limousine said it was two in the morning and minus four degrees Celsius. Snow piled neatly on the side of the road that led to the main castle building and on the trees that surrounded the garden.

This place is very large, even the entrance takes five minutes by car. If I'm not mistaken it's almost as big as Buckingham Palace in England. Mikhailovsky Castle has several small buildings, one of which is open as a museum and one very large main building.

Silence enveloped until finally the limousine stopped on one side of the main building. Not a single person, human or Volder, was in the vicinity of the main building. I only saw a Volder guarding the outer gate, after that this place is like a haunted building with no residents.
