After the knocking incident last night I still feel scared when Nick is not around me. This house is very big, so big we only use part of the room because Elliot and Rosie are still very small so they don't need too much space yet.

Nick says he's lived in this house for eighty years with Greg, but he's never heard that mysterious tapping sound I heard last night.

I asked him if this house might be haunted but Nick answered me laughing so hard he almost choked on the blood wine he was drinking.

"Eleanor, do you think a ghost has been occupying Volder's house?" he asked before wiping the blood wine that splattered the kitchen counter. Nick is one of those people who is very obsessed with cleaning our kitchen, if I dirty this place even a little bit, he immediately cleans up the mess I make.
