The grand ballroom was alive with soft music and the hum of conversation. The chandeliers above sparkled, casting a warm glow over the gathered crowd.

I stood at the top of the grand staircase, adjusting my tie for the umpteenth time, feeling a mix of anticipation and pride.

Tonight was Liana's night, and I wanted everything to be perfect.

Then, she appeared at the top of the stairs.

She was breathtaking as always.

She wore a deep emerald gown that hugged her curves and flowed gracefully as she moved. Her hair was styled elegantly, and the way she carried herself made her look like royalty.

I couldn't help but let out a low whistle as I approached her.

"You look absolutely stunning," I said, offering her my arm.

She blushed, a shy smile playing on her lips. "Thank you, Zaylen. You clean up pretty well yourself."

I chuckled, leaning in closer. "I had to step up my game. Can't have anyone thinking the Alpha doesn't know how to dress."

Liana laughed softly, her eyes twinkling.
